i have a 3000 psi gas powered pressure washer and use the 40 degree tip on it and wanted to know if i just turn down the speed of the motor will it give me a lot less than 3000 psi? i don’t want to screw up my paint on my brand new car i just got recently is there a pressure gauge i can put on the pump exit spot to where the pressure hose connects to see how much i am lowering the pressure by turning down the speed of the engine?

Is there any write ups or videos on what needs to be done to a one week old car that the pain on door panels looks like orange peel effect? i plan on advanced ceramic coating it in two weeks when i have access to a garage and want to know if i have to use compound or can i just get away with polishing it after i iron remover and clay bar it first ? newbie to polishing and a little freaked out about having to correct anything major especially on a week old car i just got. any help would be appreciated.
