  1. Click your name in the upper right (along the black bar), go to Account Settings. On the settings page, click 'Signature' in the menu on the left. Here's a shortcut: http://www.adamsforums.com/settings/signature/ From there you can add text or upload an image.
  2. I'm on mobile currently, so I can't say for sure if there is something that directly shows you what you're after. It seems now users can create their own custom views called "streams", and set preferences to filter only what they want. Try this: http://www.adamsforums.com/discover/?do=create I believe this is also under the Activity tab.
  3. There are two links for unread content towards the top of the page. One I screenshotted in the post below.
  4. Which preview function are you referring to? Previewing your own post before submitting it? Previewing the first post of a topic without opening it? If it's either of these, check out the screenshots in this topic:
  5. I found a few other forums that had wonky permissions for members. They should all be fixed now.
  6. It looks like the permissions on the 'Members Only' forum got changed a bit. I've fixed it, and will be checking the other forums to make sure the rest are not changed as well.
  7. It seems all you have to do is hover over the topic name and this appears:

Signatures were disabled. I've re-enabled them.
  9. I don't currently know if that feature still exists, or if it does, where it's moved to. I'll have to do some digging.
  10. If you're referring to previewing a post before submitting it, it's now part of this toolbar: Under Activity, go to Unread Content:
  11. The upgrade is complete. Please use the Forum Support area to report any issues you may come across, and we will make efforts to address them. Please note that at first the forum may seem slow - this is due to a number of background processes (indexing, etc) that are still running, and should subside as the day progresses.
  12. Looks like they are aiming for Monday to do the upgrade. From there we will see how the new theme reacts on different browsers and devices. It's likely that iPad bug is inherent to the current version since it's so old.
  13. Sorry for the delay, everyone. We were going back and forth with the design team for a bit, but other obligations pulled me away from working on this. We just approved the design, so they should be moving forward with the upgrade soon. We ended up going with a more modern take on the current skin in order to keep things somewhat similar and reduce any re-learning curve. I've attached a preview of it applied to their test forum. The final version may differ slightly and we will have the ability to make tweaks to it once the upgrade is complete.
  14. Thanks guys. The design team estimates that the new theme will be ready by midweek next week. The software upgrade will begin shortly after we approve the new design. I will try to get a preview of the design posted beforehand.
  15. Update 10/23: The upgrade is complete. Please use the Forum Support area to report any issues you may come across, and we will make efforts to address them. Please note that at first the forum may seem slow - this is due to a number of background processes (indexing, etc) that are still running, and should subside as the day progresses. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update 10/20: Upgrade is currently planned for Monday 10/23. Update 10/18: theme has been finalized. Upgrade should happen in a few days. Update 10/6: current estimated time for upgrade is towards the end of next week. Hello everyone, I am excited to announce that we will soon be upgrading the forum here at Adam's. The new version of this software will provide our community with a number of new features, as well as performance and security enhancements. The forum will be offline for about an hour during this process, though we don't yet have a hard date that this will be taking place. The upgrade is primarily being handled by the support and design staff at Invision, and I will update this post as they provide additional information. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Gerry
  16. Looking forward to seeing and working with everyone again; I'll be there Friday and Saturday per usual.
  17. Welcome fellow CT'er. As others have said: strip, clay, and seal is a solid plan especially since we are heading into the winter season. Of course you'll want to do it again once winter is over, it's a great twice-a-year regimen for daily drivers.
  18. Try some Metal Polish 1 on a small area. If your applicator pulls up black residue, you're dealing with bare metal and can use Metal Polish 1 to remove oxidation/discoloration, followed by Metal Polish 2 to make it super shiny. If you get no black residue, then it's coated and should be treated like paint, in which case you'd use either Finishing Polish or Revive Polish. Either a foam or microfiber applicator will do just fine if you're working by hand.
  19. How textured is the trim and what are you using to clean it (towel/brush/etc) ? I haven't used TRC yet but in the past for the situation you're in I've had good luck using an old toothbrush.
  20. This is a bit overkill One application of paint sealant will last about 6 months. This should be your base of protection since it is the most durable and lasts the longest. I use it on my G8 which, like your car, is white and stays outside, and the "glow" of the car after using just the paint sealant was far and away enough for me to forgo using a wax topper. I would save a few bucks and some time and skip the wax step. H2O is great for after maintenance washes like you said. I wouldn't immediately rinse the car off and put H2O on as soon as you've finished using paint sealant though. Again, overkill. Less is more. I'd say seal your car with paint sealant, and then use H2O as a 'boost' every 2 or 3 washes going forward.
  21. Adam's gray is definitely stickier than the blue, which helps it pull more contamination, but I found that the tradeoff is more marring specifically on softer paint. I prefer to use the blue on my G8's paint because the clear is soft, and use the gray everywhere else (especially the wheels) since it does a much better job at removing particulate. Nice front plate by the way
  22. TID is for maintaining the 'just detailed' look of interiors that are already in good shape that only need to be maintained (think how Detail Spray is for your exterior). These interiors don't necessarily need the full and thorough cleaning that LIC provides, and maybe you don't have really thick or thirsty leather that would require a conditioner. TID is also good for odor-eliminating and anti-static. Personally I use it on my dashboard and hard plastics, and even though my seats and door panels are in great shape, my leather soaks up conditioner like crazy (plus I'm always parked outside) so I take advantage of the high SPF in LC.
  23. Glass sealant since it lasts so long. Also I think G&G is easily broken down by the mechanical action of your wipers - the first and only time I used G&G on my windshield I noticed some light gray buildup vertically along the driver's side after a couple days of rain, as if the wipers were slowly scraping the G&G away. Everywhere else though it's terrific.
  24. I don't think there's enough flat space on top of the canister for a suction cup. My first instinct would be to somehow strap it to the barrel. I own neither this particular foam gun nor a gopro so I'm just thinking out loud here. BTW good username. GTA fan?
  25. I use whatever is left in my foam gun to suds the car down again, and then rinse off and move on to your drying routine.
