Man, that '67 went from dull to whoa! I love that color too. Very similar to the blue on he front of the '55.

That is a bit of a judgement call on your part. If your truck's paint is really contaminated, you may need to use another 1/3 if the first chunk gets extremely dirty. That being said, I have done a Tundra Crew Max with half a bar and been fine. And that truck lives outside.

I have to echo what has already been said here and commend you on such a beautiful 4th GEN. Good to see there are still some nice ones out there!

This week we swapped our dining room into our living room and vice versa. My wife thinks it made more room for us in the living room by moving it...I am not so sure if it was worth the hassle for the what looks to be a marginal improvement in usable space. Anyways, if she likes it and is happy then I am happy.

LOL, I know this isn't always a popular opinion. If I said that over on trifive.com I would probably be banned by one of the old coots over there. I just am of the opinion that nothing dates a vehicle more than the wheels. If you are going to put that kind of money into a build/restoration then the last thing you should do is slap some wheels on there that makes your car look like it just arrived from 1985 with Doc's DeLerean.

I hear Porsche owners are sticklers for originality, so heavy mods are out of the question!

Good lord, dat engine build. I bet it's a handful, even with the upgraded suspension and brakes. Awesome car. It depends on the vehicle for me. For example, I have Rally Wheels on my Dad's El Camino, and I couldn't imagine a better set of wheels for it. Camaros on the other hand have a million options that look great, so Rallys aren't the be all, end all. Just as long as they aren't Crager SS's! Leave those in the 70's where they belong!

Agreed. It really doesn't need anything more now that you have done this and the wheels.

Dylan, I am very happy to see that all is well now. I can't help but wonder what led to the sudden rupture though. Usually there are signs and symptoms with appendicitis before a rupture. All of this must of been awfully scary.

Great job! I love cars like this. It's the right blend of new-school while maintaining what makes these cars cool in the first place.

That's the way to do it though. There is no issues with fit and finish that way. When I had my Civic before I got my Z, I did the same thing. Everything was OEM, either JDM or USDM, and it just worked.
