  1. So I was helping and teaching a buddy today about correcting his paint. I had one through the process of washing and claying and worked with him using my flex. We had finished the quarter panel with correcting polish and I had moved on to bigger scratches with my drill. I told him to use the white microfiber pad, white product and continue. Finished with what I was doing and checked on him. Webt to wipe off the panel and realized it looked strange. It wasn't wiping off normally and wasn't hazed right. Turns out he had been polishing with VRT for 10 minutes. I lost it laughing. Funny thing is it didn't look that bad after wiping off. Couldn't really blame him cause I told him the "white bottle". We finshed the car and it looked great. It made my day and he is now a future Adams user.
  2. Finally got out and took a few pictures.
  3. After finally getting some decent weather this weekend it was time to get some protection on my new Stingray. Started off with a good wash with a small amount of APC in the soap to help strip anything that was applied prior. Next it was time for some clay. It's amazing how bad the paint can be on a brand new car that has barely spent anytime outdoors. With the baggy it felt like sand paper. I was expecting some clay would be needed but not the entire car. I was dead wrong. Back outside for another wash after claying. After close inspection of the paint I located a few small areas that needed corrected with Paint Finishing Polish. For the most part the paint was in great shape but I instructed the dealership to not touch it when the car arrived. All taped up and ready for some protection. I decided on Liquid Paint Sealant with some American to follow. I have never owned a white car and the application of Liquid Paint Sealant and it's black color on white paint was different. It was helpful with even application of the product. Where to much was applied you could see the dark color and make another pass to even it out. After the sealant was allowed to cure and removed it was time for some Americana paste. Call me weird but I really enjoy the hand application of this premium wax. There is something about this final step that is amazing. The lighting was terrible by the time I had finished and I was unable to capture any finished photos with my iPhone. I will try to get out and grab some soon hopefully.
