Just started getting into this, not too difficult and the results look pretty good. LMK what you think.

Over winter I bought my last two wheels to polish up, did my first 2 last fall/winter. Throughout sanding these I have been seeing some discoloration areas on the wheel. When I got to 1500 grit it was pretty apparent that it wasn't getting removed. I proceeded to remove a spoke back to 80 grit until most of what I was seeing was gone. Sanded back up to 1500 grit and the discoloration was still there. See the pictures, I need some suggestions on what to do. I have about 8-10 hours into these things, would hate for them to not be able to polish up to a nice shine.

DEAL! Shampoo is only $10, this is where shipping doesnt make sense. Bundle it with something else from adams, or wait for a flat shipping sale. Since VRT is about $30/bottle, I say shipping wont match that. Shampoo alone maybe.

Tempting, but I do not know if I would have a use for this.

Going through my inventory and found out that I have entirely too much VRT and Car Shampoo. If anyone is interested in trading let me know. I would be interested in Drying towels, turbo stick, 4" metal polish pads, or in and out maybe some other things, lmk. Have most fluids that I would ever need. I have 3 VRT for trade, and 1-2 Car Shampoo. They have been stored in my house, not garage. I guarantee quality of product, if you are not happy with it just return it to me. These are are full never opened bottles.

Had polished two stock 18" GTO Wheels last fall, they sat over the winter and when I pulled them out they looked like hell. I have two more wheels that I am just getting gonig on, and thought it would be a huge mistake to put that much time into the wheels if they won't stay looking good. I grabbed an air hose, some APC, and metal polish 1 and went to town with the 4" drill attachment. I just did the spokes to put my mind at ease that everything will be alright. Not sure if the process is recommended, but here is what I did. Blew off all the loose debris with an airhose, then sprayed the wheel down with APC and wiped down with an Adams Microfiber. Then went at just the top of the spokes with metal polish 1, and wiped clean with the grey microfiber. I was pleased with the results, and best part is took all of 5 minutes from start to finish. Needless to say I will be finishing the other 2 wheels. Can't wait to get these onto the car! Glad I bought the large containers of metal polish 1 and 2 last year. May need to purchase some more 4" metal polish pads in the near future. Notice the difference between the top of the spokes and the rest of the wheel, amazing!

Nice, been using the utility towels and putting scratches in my newly polished wheels. These will be a nice addition. -

Wish I were a better photographer... -
So far it is very nice. Now I just can't decide what I want to spend time on detailing first... I think the goat is going to win, it needs some love.

Real curious as to what in & out would do to the grill of the A4. Used waterless wash and in and out, here is a walkthrough, with pictures took 4 minutes... Not too bad. Now the rest of the car needs a good back and detail. Before After Waterless Wash After in & out

Looked at some 3 series BMW's, interior just couldnt compare to the Audi. M3 would have been great, but a CPO M3 was no where near my price range. Besides I already have a GTO, just needed a good 4 door DD.

If I could have found a manual I would have gotten one, I was in a time crunch and this was the right one at the time. There was a 09 Premium black/black with 20k more miles for $2k more... I do not like automatics, but with all the gizmos to tinker with in this car it is probably for the best. Even the auto is fun to drive, the speed sensative steering is still a bit awkward!

Think the in & out will get used a lot on this car... 2009 Audi A4 Premium Plus, Quattro

Can see where this can have some advantages, think I will stick with Opera Mini

Use Opera Mini on my blackberry, works a hell of a lot better than the blackberry browser, going to give this thing a try and see how well it works.
