  1. Hi Gabe, The Rupes 'mini' is indeed a random orbital machine. It is great for getting into nooks and crannies and around emblems, mirrors, etc.Try one and you'll want one!
  2. Nice write-up Dave! We all had a productive morning making Mike & Tammy's car look outstanding, Bird bomb etching, bug guts and residue, scratches, key marks, holograms & swirls for the most part just disappeared under the Rupes/ Carlisle Eastern Events Team attack. The smile on Mike's face said it all when we called him over. There was a scary moment when I saw some black streaks on the paint in a corner and a door handle. But as Dave noted above, these were just marks from the neoprene pads and were quickly banished with a little GooGone. I especially liked the longer cords on all of the Rupes machines, and those cords are very flexible unlike some others that I have worked with. My only complaint MIGHT be, and keep in mind that we were working in Dave's garage with 4 machines running at the same time, is that the machines all have a higher-pitched sound that hurt my old ears, so you may want to consider wearing some sort of hearing protection while you work. Other than that, I will say with the heartiest of recommendations that the Rupes Terrific Trio of Tools was a great addition to the Adam's arsenal of polishing equipment!
  3. I too, am one of the folks that is (are?) glad that Dylan made his way 'home'. Having been one of BRZN's team members this past season, it was an absolute blast working with Adam at Carlisle and other events, but even with that interaction, there always seemed to be a piece missing. Welcome back, Dylan! Hopefully the East Coast team will see your smiling face a lot in 2015.
  4. Congratulations Dave! I am glad that you're riding herd on this forum
  5. I wanted to thank everyone who stopped by our booth during Windfest 2014. We all had a blast despite the weather. I got to meet some of the old-timers as well as some of the new folks coming into the Adam's family, and we're looking forward to more of these terrific weeks.
  6. Dylan, there may even be a small crowd at the airport, all waving cheesesteaks!
  7. GRRR8 video! You should have a final shot of the two of you, and the dog, standing next to the clean truck and a "whew!".
  8. Count me in among the successful ones as well! BRZN should vouch for me!
  9. It looks like EVERYONE worked really hard--sorry I missed you all, but I had a rehabilitation of an Accord to do that weekend, many thanks to our friend Matt (matts88yj), I never would have gotten this one finished on my own in the time allotted. I have pics...somewhere...
  10. Mike, I will check with Jason & Dr Lahar, we can probably find out who he was. I was messing with him all day too, we set up a couple of shots after most folks had gone. Thanks for coming out and spending your day with us!
  11. That car is a beauty, and I also loved the back story! ALSO, you did us GTO guys proud! Terrific work, what magazine/ commercial will the photo shoot be in? Can us East/ Rust Coasters see it as well?
  12. This is gonna be a great event--lots of great cars, great food, great Adam's products, and GRRRR8 PEOPLE to enjoy it all!
  13. I believe that this photo was taken a few years ago--before Dave and Adam's were fully introduced, or even partially introduced. Only in times of extreme need would Dave now sit and commune with his honeycomb grilles for hours on end. Today it's a shot of IOS and move on to a fine, hoppy IPA. Or Budweiser, if offered. Oh, and I LOVE my SVRT! Does it streak a bit after a torrential downpour? Yep, but a quick wipedown and a LIGHT re-application and all is well. The key is LIGHT here, as with most Adam's products.
  14. I'm with Rich, Greg. That is one BEAUTIFUL truck!
  15. I just wanted to post a quick note thanking Lynn for the "above and beyond" effort and magic that she performed working in cahoots with my wife for my birthday present. What a surprise! I couldnt be happier with the results, and the turnaround time I know involved a lot of personal time. I can't reveal what the gift was yet because I'm going to show some people over the weekend first, but I'll post some pics! Lynn, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Another reason that Adam's--the entire COMPANY, and everyone involoved with the company, is the absolute best! and
  16. I agree completely Patrick, we have some real wood ones as well. But the plastic versions are easier to carry up and down the steps as we always seem to be doing.
  17. They are very comfortable, we were just sitting outside enjoying the remains of the beautiful weather today!
  18. Very nice, Dan! I really do like the Camaro wheels with the MGM paint.
  19. Oh Man! Looks like a miserable day out there! Hopefully they'll make a decision one way or the other. If you were a LITTLE closer I'd pop over and at least buy something!
  20. Hey Gang, This morning I went over to Lowe's to get some inexpensive stacking chairs for the deck--L%K what I found! I know the name's a BIT different--but pretty darn close? I had to buy them whether I needed them or not...
  21. Jason, it was good to meet some non-Pontiac owners! And as they say, any friend of Brandi's... ...I dunno what they say actually. Better ask Matt! Thanks for making the trek from Selinsgrove!
  22. They are called Wheel Woolies and should be in stock AND on the website very shortly--you'll love them!
