  1. All the cars in the showroom are shiny and smooth as ice. I'm a amazed what a difference it made. If only I had my bottle of glaze with me.
  2. You can always use my car and would fit in perfectly with the american muscle theme
  3. Where are you staying near? Michigan Ave? Sounds like everyone beat me to the punch. Save the trip to Navy Pier for later on wens and saturday cause they have fireworks. If you're looking for food, besides the taste, there is Ed Debevic's, Gino's East, Giordano's, Gene and Jude's, Superdawg, Manny's Deli, Grand Lux Cafe to name a few but all food in Chicago is good casue rent isn't cheap so if you're not bringing in customers you're closed.
  4. Where in Chicago are you located? I'd be happy to stop by and possibly give a hand.
  5. It has rained EVERY weekend for the last 5 weeks in a row!!! I checked the weather all week and it said low 60's (that's warm in Chicago) and partly cloud. Only to find out today it pouring....
  6. Ok there's alot going on here. Polishing removes swirl marks by leveling out the clear coat. Because swirl mark can be difficult to see at times a solid light source is KEY. A lot of people use halogen flood lights to show the imperfections. Also, if the polish isn't flashing you arn't working it long enough. Polishing is a very time consuming process. I'm assuming you strip washed, clayed before you started. Start with a small 2X2 area and get the perfect to see how long it will take you. each pass should take you 2-5 minutes before the polish flashes. Different factors like temperature and humidity come in to play with polish work time. Once again, assuming your using the PC. You want to put enough pressure to to slow the machine but still allow the pad to spin. Let the machine do the work don't be in a hurry. You won't be harming anything by going too slow. Make sure you over lap each pass by 50% Use a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water and wipe down the panel after each pass to check your work. The alcohol will remove any oil from the polish that made be hiding imperfections. Hope this helps good luck keep us updated
  7. Great video! Great song! Headstrung by Distance for those wondering
  8. Let's not jump to conclusions. As long as you kept the pad moving well it would be difficult to burn through the clear. And in my experience if you did burn through it you would know. there would be no questioning it. Got any pics of the damage?
  9. Sorry for the late bump and the partial thread jack, but I was looking to get one of these for the car. However, I've seen reviews that say it is "ok" and that the suction is the main problem. I'm not looking for just "ok" I dont think any of us are, if we were, we wouldn't use Adam's. My question is are there any other alternatives that anyone car recommend with out buying a professional extractor?
  10. Subscribed! Interested in purchasing one of these also.
  11. I didn't even notice Why are all these 2-3 yr old threads getting bumped lately??
  12. I knew as soon as I clicked on this thread it was only a matter of time till Dylan would tease us with something.
  13. So when can we expect these to be available in the Adam's store?
  14. That's me dead center in the gray shirt. Other than that this is the only one I can find. I feel stupid for posting this one but I don't take many pictures.
  15. Dylan you are the man! Fantastic job!Your detail write ups always leave me amazed. Keep up the good work!
  16. Cars of course are number 1 Don't know if it's a hobby But I'm a bit of a gym rat and I follow the sport of bodybuilding pretty closely. Usually if I'm not at work I'm either at the gym or washing my car.
