  1. Thanks EPHIOS !! I need to reorder a few items, but ready to get to it. I have the PC, but the pads are old. It's a brand new car, so the paint is in great shape. I just need to seal it from the heat until I can get it into the garage.
  2. Anyone here with a DD in Arizona or similar climate where your ride is constantly outside in the heat ? What are your recommendations (especially for black) for keeping the finish from fading ? I need to make some room in the garage for the car.... I know...."what do you think the garage is for ?" But in the meantime....... Products ? Frquency ? Any other practices you've found to be helpful ? I use the sun shade for the windshield / dash. Thanks
  3. Yeah. I know about them and trust them. I posted in new member because it has been forever since I've been on the forum and didn't know where to post the request for the local guy. I've detailed before on my vehicles and on others, I just had too much happening currently and would like to find someone I can trust to do it right on the new car when I don't have the time to mess with it. Thanks for the heads up on European.
  4. Got too many projects going at once and had to use the room, temporarily. Still working on a 1952 CJ-3A restoration but finally made some more room to start stocking back up again. In the meantime, I have a new car that I found out today is a pain in the *** to detail and would rather have someone else do it until I get the garage back to "normal" again.
  5. I'm not new to the forums and have actually been using Adam's Polishes for a few years now, but I have currently run out of garage space and product and would like to know if there is anyone near Surprise, Arizona that is a professional detailer that uses Adam's polishes exclusively. I just picked up a new 2013 Ford ST in tuxedo black and would like to have it gone over by someone that has the correct product for the job and is very versed in the techniques promoted on these forums. Please PM me if you are in the area. I would like to hook up until I can get restocked. Thanks
  6. Getting into a new ride. My first black car. Would like to know if there is a thread which addresses the best way to keep a black car, well.... black, and shiny of course. I know it can be more difficult to keep the scratchy look off of black than most. Thanks

  8. It was not a good day. All I can say is be careful out there guys. An airbag can save your life, and ALWAYS wear your seatbelts. I was very lucky. My passenger was not as lucky, but came out of it alive. I can't find the pictures right now, but if you saw them, you would wonder how I walked away without even a scratch. The cop said there was an angel looking out for me. After walking away from that one I decided my next truck was definitely going to be another F150. I wasn't at fault, but that didn't make me feel any better about what happened. Your lives can be turned upside down in the blink of an eye.
  9. Sorry to hear that. I guess we all have our stories. I've owned them all. Chrysler, Chevrolet, Ford, Volvo, Nissan, Toyota, BMW....... but none have been as reliable or have lasted as long as the last two trucks I have had. The last F150 had almost 300,000 miles on it and ran like a top before it was totalled. 70mpg into a light pole. Cannot go into details on that one. Sorry. Currently, the Lightning has 125,000 and runs like it was brand new. No problems at all with it. A guy offered me $26,000 for the Lightning a week after I bought it. I told him "Thanks, but no thanks."
  10. The Force Team is using the Boss 500's now. I asked one of the crew members about the availability through Ford Racing and he said, "not yet, but soon".
  11. Nice !! I'd like to find one of those as well !! I can't wait until the Boss 500 is available for our trucks !!!
  12. Those flames look bad-azz !! "Boss 5.4" ?? Something new ? I must be out of the loop.
