  1. A few JGC SRT8 guys and me and some TBSS guys were planning on attending.................................... Team said event was going down regardless of Rain, Snow, Blizzard, Apocolypse, Great Flood, etc............
  2. I actually specifically remember shaking up the 16oz bottle after I filled it, but specifically remember NOT shaking up the gallon before filling the 16oz bottle . I am also most likely using too much DS when drying, as Mook pointed out, AND it's being applied over vehicles that need clayed/polished/waxed. Ultimately, the streaks came out and everything looked fine, it just took more work than I was used to. I'll give the gallon a good shake tonight when I wash the truck and see if I can't get satisfactory results. I will report back. Dylan, if you're out and about, feel free to walk on over and check it out!
  3. Thanks Mook. Those are valid questions and points. In terms of temperature, I don't think it has seen anything extreme, but possibly less than ideal. My garage temps (outside/non-insulated wall where I store the DS gallon) probably ranges from 30-55* over the last month or so that I've had it. I have not shaken the product too vigorously. I took the gallon, filled a 16oz bottle and went on with my business. Perhaps I need to shake up the gallon, as it has been sitting for a while. I am using A LOT of DS when I dry, as I always have. I didn't know that less was needed/better with the new formula. I'll try that. And Andrew made a good point about using it on black vehicles that don't already have a layer of wax. As mentioned, both vehicles had minimal to no wax/sealant/glaze.
  4. I'm glad I found this feedback thread. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't offer my honest opinion. I find that this detail spray leaves more streaks and requires more rubbing to remove said streaks. In the interest of full disclosure, I've used it on 2 vehicles, both of which need some serious polishing and don't have much/any sealant or wax to speak of. Is the extra streaking due to the fact that the vehicles don't have a fresh coat of wax applied? I'll be the first to admit that my paint is in pretty bad shape and in need of some serious polishing and protection. My friends'/customers' cars receive more attention from me than my own, unfortunately. This ds seems to be "thicker" for lack of a better term. The old formula seemed to come off very easy with minimal to no streaks. It now seems like more of a chore to use this ds while drying. I'm not criticizing the product - in fact, I'd really like some feedback on how to avoid the streaking. Like I said, this could all be attributed to the fact that both vehicles I used it on were basically bare paint in need of some serious love. I am looking forward to some feedback on this! Thanks guys!

Looks like this is going to be a good turnout. Everyone is welcome to meet up with us at Starbucks beforehand too!

  13. So, are you saying that you went from this: To this By doing only 2 passes of FMP/White pad on speed 4? ???
  14. I enjoyed hearing updates about this detail throughout the day yesterday. I can vouch for how hard Mook worked on this ride. He busted his butt on it and it really shows! Seriously, check out those before and after pictures. I'm truly impressed. This is how you get the job done. I'm sure you're sore today but I'm also sure that the satisfaction from a job well done was worth the pain. I just wish I could have taken the day off to come help. Next time for sure! Great work Mook!
