Let me first say I am a fan boi for a while. As seen by the tag under my name. I must say though, someone needs to work on the web site. I just spent a few minutes trying to find the ceramic trim coating and you'd think it would be under, exterior. But nope. I checked in other, and nope. I had to actually search for it at which time, I found it. That leads me to something else, which is the in and out spray. I was looking for that to link to my cousin, who I finally converted with the help of a certain youtuber and I can't find it. I'm wondering if it's no longer available, or if the web site is just not showing it. Can you guys get someone to fix the site so EVERYTHING shows up in it's place without having to actually search for things?

Stop blurring out your plates after the photoshoot!
rha600 replied to Team Adam's's topic in Company Info/Announcements
I never understood why people did that in the first place. I mean do they not realize they drive past thousands of people every day who actually see their plates? And chances are they probably pissed one of THOSE people off far more than anyone on the internet...so why bother?- 40 replies

C350 paint correction old school
rha600 replied to rha600's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I bought this stuff probably 6-7 years ago? The cap was clogged but that's been clogged since about a month after I bought it. Pirahnah. Nice, that probably would have worked perfectly. No reason it wouldn't have. -
C350 paint correction old school
rha600 replied to rha600's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
It still works great. Only problem was the top was clogged so I had to just remove it to get the product out. But the results were great. -
So I got my memorial day products on Friday and I did an outside detail on my Jeep and the wife's Benz yesterday. She ended up leaving and it was hotter than hell do I didn't get to fix her roof until today but I did so with some new, some old products and my porter cable. So this is what the panels alone side the glass roof looked like. Total oxidation. I taped off the area and used, yep, some old school swirl and haze removed that I've had since about 2010 and an orange Gen2 pad.. This is after just that. After that I did use some of the new white paint finish and a gen 5 pad to clean things up. Then I cleaned up all the rubber around the panels with APC and WC and then applied some paint sealant. The results here. Unfortunately I forgot to get photos of the completely finished product after I applied VRT to the trim and then wiped everything clean.

Mine only shows a couple years back. I haven't had to buy nearly as much after going from a Black SRT to a white Wrangler. I do use some of the products in the house though as well. Like the glass cleaner and carpet cleaner. -

Oh, I buy that by the gallon. Undercarriage All purpose. H2O Detail spray Glass cleaner (x2) shampoo Wheel cleaner. All of the above you might as well buy gallons. After that, depending on how you detail you might need some others like the interior detailer, or rinseless...but I'd say those above are the basics. -

Yep. I just placed an order today. Needed another gallon of APC, some VRT and I decided to try the tire shine (going to wipe it off with a tire brush after applying), the MF revitalization and a wheel woolie. -

Washing cars in my neighborhood
rha600 replied to Brent123's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I say go for it. It's good to see someone wanting to go and work for their money instead of expecting it. Go door to door. Have a "menu" of sorts that describes not only what you will do but prices for additions such as wax/sealant, interior detail, etc. Dont' get discouraged if some people say no. Some might prefer to do it themselves. But if you get a couple done word of mouth can spread quicker than you think in bad and good situations. -
Car Shampoo Pressure Washer Safe?
rha600 replied to Z71_Denali's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Ok well I used the attachment to wash my wife's C class today. Not a large car by any means, but it took 2 1/2 of those little containers of car shampoo to soap it all up. I did not dilute it at all as the container is quite small and I wanted to see how it worked with just the shampoo. I might try diluting it a bit next time but doing so might not give enough suds. Overall though it does give the desired result, however I'm still going to purchase a real power washer when I have the money. Not just for the cars but I also clean the sidewalks twice a year as well and it will make that much easier too. -
Car Shampoo Pressure Washer Safe?
rha600 replied to Z71_Denali's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I'm going to resurrect this one more time. because I recently just purchased this. http://smile.amazon.com/Karcher-Dispensor-Accessory-Electric-Pressure/dp/B003GBCM1A?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 I haven't tried it yet as I just painted my rock sliders and now of course it's raining cats and dogs, but I will try it tomorrow. I'll post some photos and give an update. I'd really like a gas powered true washer but I already have this electric one plus actually a second one someone gave me so until I find some extra cash I don't have the $300 to buy a real one. -

Controlling polisher cord
rha600 replied to aroundtuit's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
^ this. I don't want the cord attached to me in any way. I know I'll forget it's connected at least 5 times while detailing one vehicle, yanking it off the cart, dragging it on the pavement. Just throw it over your shoulder, I've really never had any issues doing it that way.- 27 replies

How many of you are using the Merino Wool wash mitt?
rha600 replied to cweidert03's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I have one as well and used to use it all the time but I have very hard water so for me it's better to get suds if I use the wedge and put some shampoo in there every couple of sections. -
I've collected a few of the special color towels over the years like last year's halloween versions and I still have some blue ones as well as grey. But is there any way to maybe have 3 or 4 choices on colors of the plush MF towels? I like the white for the paint because you can see if there's anything on the towel before causing scratches but it would be nice to have some different colors so you can use them for different things like wiping down dirty areas under the hood, or for knocking down tire shine, etc. Right now that's exactly what I do but my blue ones are running out and I only have 3 of the orange.
