  1. If it has IPA it will strip the wax! Let car salesman stick to car sales. I will stick to detail spray for my drying and quick detailing. I haven't seen the ingredients in Detail Spray (DS), but I am almost certain I doesn't contain IPA. If it did wouldn't you use it to strip the wax, not extend the life of it? Adams new DS says on the sales site it "Extends Protection with NEW Wax Boosting Technology".

  3. Ryan have you checked the mileage on the ST? I have been shopping around and can't get a good real world MPG average on the ST version.
  4. I like leather and interior cleaner diluted 1:1 with water. Unless interior is really dirty, then use straight. Then I use leather and interior conditioner. I let it sit for a minute or two then I wipe down for a nice matte finish. I have had issues with SVRT creating glare on my windshield when driving. Never an issue with L&I conditioner.
  5. I agree totally with the spouse and kids in vehicle. I have to have a floormat that covers the entire carpet or it gets trashed. I guess the Lloyds aren't custom fit like the weathertechs. Thanks for the info.
  6. Dylan the new Inox looks great. Its terrible how much new cars need claying. My 2012 Explorer needed clayed so bad it wasn't even funny. So why did you choose the Weathertech Floormats over the Lloyds RubberTite mats? Or Lloyds mats of any type? I have had 5 pair of Weathertech mats (last 2 digital fit) and love them. Only reason I changed mats was different vehicles, not because mats had any problems. So I was just wondering what the difference is in your opinion of the different type mats. I ask since you have access to both. Thanks
  7. 1st vehicle was a 78 long bed Chevy Silverado bought in 1988. Spent 2X as much time under the hood working on it than in the driver seat. It looked really good for about 6 months. Then had an ice storm and the engine started knocking so bad you could feel it on the floor board. My Dad had a "buddy" that was mechanic, who said he rebuild the engine and did a couple other things to fix it. Did all the work in about a day and 1/2. The clear coat also started peeling. I was ready to sale it and my brother decided he wanted it, so I sold it to him. Yes he knew it was a POS, he helped me work on it several times, but he bought it anyway. Ended up putting a new engine in it a month after I sold it. (Long story) 2nd vehicle was a 88 Dodge Dakota I bought used from a 70 year old man in 1991. It had 30k miles on it. I had it 2 months and was driving home from college and the transmission started making a terrible whining sound. Took it to the dealership and they told me the OD had went out and that I had been driving the truck without it being in OD. I asked the service manager if I drove it while not in OD why in the world would it burn up. Because it had 70,000 mile warranty, Dodge got to fix it. in the 2 1/2 years I had it the steering column broke, then the computer went out, then the ignition went out and every month I had to have the dealer put a oil sending unit on it. By the time I sold it to my Dad in 93 it was almost a new truck. I didn't want to sale it to my Dad but he wanted it. I did meet my wife in that truck, so I did get something good out of it. 3rd vehicle was a 94 Toyota Xtr-Cab 4X4. It was white and it looked great. That truck was great. The only problem I ever had with it was the cheap steel wheel got bent and had to buy a new one for $25 from the dealer. Never did anything but change the oil and air filter in it. I had put 80k on it and was ready to quit my job. So I sold it and bought a 98 Toyota Tacoma Xtr-Cab 4X4 to give me incentive to keep working. Didn't work, still ended up leaving and moving to a new state. I would love to have my 94 or 98 Tacos back, best vehicles I ever owned.

  9. Sealant definitely does NOT remove glaze or wax. Sealant it a man-made type of wax. Benefits of sealant is it lasts longer then wax. Some people say a sealant doesn't give you the depth (paint looks wet) of a wax, but on my white F150 and metallic red Explorer I can't really see a difference. But like everyone else said apply sealant>glaze>wax. You do it like this because sealant won't bond to wax, but wax will bond to sealant. Benefits of this process is you get the longer duration of protection with the sealant, the look of depth using the glaze, then you get the benefit of protecting the glaze and sealant with a coat of wax.
  10. Same problem as before. Music at beginning can hear on both speakers, when Adam talks only hear on the left side. I tried in 240P, 360P, 480P and 720P.
  11. Ditto for me. The music at the beginning plays out both speakers, but when Adam starts to talk only the left.
  12. Dylan it has been over 4 months since this massive correction, have you seen the truck since your cousin picked it up? Has he taken care of it since this amazing transformation? Always wonder what happens 3 months, 6 months, and even 12 months later.
