I always remember to tell them not to wash my car anymore, but I recently discovered something else I have to tell them NOT to do. "Test" the windshield wipers. I went in for an oil change a couple months ago the day after I washed it and made sure they understood that the car did not need to be washed. They give the car back to me with dried wiper fluid and wiper marks on the windshield. They were confused why I was upset and now they offered to wash the window. No thank you.

I came out to my previous car about an hour after I washed it and discovered that the maintenance crew at my townhomes was nice enough to use a leaf blower and completely cover my car in dirt, dust, leaves and twigs. So, now if I ever hear the leaf blower I just go outside and stand by my car until they go away.

I have heard great things about Valentine One, but have never used one. I have Escort Passport 8500 and it works great.
