  1. I just used my foam cannon for the first time today. I have the same Ryobi 200pis mentioned in earlier posts. My only complaint about it is that the wand is so long the foam cannon sits way to far, so I may replace the last chunk of the wand with a shorter one. It worked amazing, and it's was like shaving cream.
  2. Well it has been a busy two days. It has been raining basically non-stop for the last 4 months, but we finally got a couple days of nice weather for detailing. I have never done so much detailing work in my life and Im exhausted. My BMW has perfect paint but it has not been waxed in 6 months or so. I just did a nice wash, clay, sealant, wax job on her. I also detailed my wifes Yukon. We bought this in October and like I said with the rain I have not had a chance to detail her up. So I did a full wash, clay, 2 step polish, seal and wax job. I also decided to clean up my former truck. My brother in law purchased this from me a couple months ago. He is stationed in Japan, but will be coming back stateside next week and I have been storing the truck for him. I thought it would be nice to wax her up and clean up all the black plastic trim to thank him for his service.
  3. Woot Woot! This is the best news I have heard in a long time! Welcome Back! I love the C10!
  4. Thanks Yeah I have to finish pulling a few parts off of it, then I will send it to a friend of mine who is going to do all the body and paint work. Its a project that both my father and I are working on. I am moving away from my home town here very soon, so I donk know if I will be able to help him finish it.
  5. Thanks everyone Thanks. Your Avatar makes me miss my SS
  6. Well I finally got the opportunity to detail up my truck after owning it for a a year and a half. I also recently completed de-badging/molding the entire truck. I also painted the lower valance and grill inserts black. ignore the dead bugs on the windshield, i took the pictures before I scrubbed it clean.
  7. I love your Colorado! I cant remember is it a V8?
  8. Love the Pantera My dad had the opportunity to buy one in 1981 for $8,000 from a buddy of his. He wanted to so bad, but my sister was just born, and my dad did not feel it was right to buy a sports car with a newborn. He kicks himself all the time, but it was probably a good decision.
  9. I agree. I think Audi has the best looking range of cars on the road today, by far! This is my new favorite
  10. #2 best looking car of all time IMO

  12. You should, its only a 3 1/2 hour drive for you. Its a great show and the weather and location are great. The only complaint most people have are the bugs around the lake. They were really bad this year and almost impossible to avoid. But if you come down the day before in the middle of the day there are a lot less bugs out vs the morning or in the evening. You will just have to makes sure to load up all your Adams stuff and give her a nice cleaning before the show. Yeah I know what you mean. Most people are very respectful of the vehicles and take extra care to not touch, but thats not always the case. I had to yell at a lady who was standing by my car talking to someone and she put her elbow on my roof while she was talking. I also get annoyed at people putting flyers in the vehicle, but sometimes thats the only way to learn about other car shows in that area.
  13. The VRT works so well on the top. The guy that pulled in next to me had a 1970 Chevelle with a black vinyl top. It was faded something awful. I was about to go up to him and talk to him about Adams, then all the sudden he pulls out a bottle of VRT and starts putting it on the top. It was like night and day difference. Come to find out he bought the car with the faded top and the VRT is the only thing that kept it from getting worse. While he was applying it, another lady came up to us and started asking about what that amazing product we were using on out tops. I got to tell her all about Adams and how amazing there products are and how great the company is. Hopefully we may have created another adams addict.
  14. Thanks, you too! I would love to have a SS396, maybe one day.
  15. And now for the Bad I have been cursed with the detailers eye, and it always amazes me how people put some much effort into restoring their vehicles and yet they do not put any effort into detailing them. This car is owned by a guy my wife went to school with. He got it for his 18th birthday as a present. Guess what he does for a side job? Thats right he is a "detailer." He was trying to convince my wife to have him detail her car, she just laughed at him The location I sat at for the night cruise gave me a great view of several bad details.
  16. So this past weekend I took my Chevelle to our local car show and cruise. http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/26768-the-69-chevelle/ It was a great turnout and the weather was perfect (sunny and 75). There was about 480 cars, not bad for a small town of less than 45K people. There were some really nice cars, and some cars that were ruined by poor detailing. I figured I would share a few pictures since I know everyone on here cant get sick of looking at classics. I love this car I figured Adam might like this one. Its pretty close to his. Last years best in show winner
  17. Cleaned my Chevelle up for out local car show and cruise. I spent the last week working on getting her running right. Replaces the Carburetor, and did a full tune up. Its running much better but not 100% The Chevelle has not been driven since last year at this show. And last year I did a full detail, so I did not have to do much to get her ready. This year I pulled her out from under the cover. Did a rinsless wash, put on a coat of BG and some SVRT on the Vinyl top and the tires. I also used the new interior detailer on the interior. Showing off the BG shine Got to love how the VRT makes the top shine It even shines in the shade:
  18. Very nice. I love me some Chevelles
  19. True- even more so when i was in Phoenix last week for business The next person has an Admas package waiting for them at home right now.
  20. I drove the Chevelle for the first time this year. I wanted to get it out before our local car show next week. I burned an entire tank of fuel driving her around the back roads of Southern Oregon. It was a great day until I got back into town and it began to run very bad. It died a couple times and when I tried to accelerate from a stop nothing would happen then all of the sudden bam I would have power. Looks like I'm going to have a long weekend trying to figure out what is wrong with her before next weekend.
  21. Yeah I cant find it? I want to order a couple other items and pick a bottle of this up too
