Chrome polishing advice
J Tegeler replied to randyfox's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Check the swabs out for sure along with the 4" pads! then just take your time and get the wow results with metal polish 1 and 2. I have found quick sealant to work best for keeping it protected. whenever I do a detail I do all the trim and metal before moving on to the paint. no matter if it is rubber or metal trim -

Chrome polishing advice
J Tegeler replied to randyfox's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I have used the 4" pads ona drill with good results..just took my time and taped the areas around it off. also get great reults by hand with a microfiber aplicator. And the letter and smaller stuff is just a paint lol..They do make foam polihing swabs that are similar to the buffing pads that work great for stuff like that. Much better than a q-tip -
Detailing Pricing, Charging too much?
J Tegeler replied to Kingsford's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Seems like fair pricing to me. Most customer dont think about the cost of product we spend and the price of our time. I always tell myself I wont detail for less per hour than my day job. So I always make sure to make money. I always figure my prices wont be for some people and some people wont mind because of the detailed work that I do. -

Cleaning the glass on the inside?
J Tegeler replied to Wgeffon's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I spray my glass cleaner right now the towel I do not get it soaking wet but moist then I go around the edge of the glass then hit the rest of it. After I have gone over it all once I follow up with a clean dry microfiber and buff out any streaks -
