  1. its all good. Im not worried on the gel coat. Just the rest of the body. I think the interior will be more time then the outside of the boat.
  2. woot! my shipment had my Americana today! Im happy! i like the little free shipping insert aswell!
  3. dealership better have covered that bill. sell a 200k$ car that looks like ****. I'd be pissed or not even have bought it until they had it fixed.
  4. wow... i guess i would have like to known that my order i just placed has backordered items on it... maybe my americana will be in the shipment cause i got no info saying its on backorder, and i wont be happy as i have a car sitting waiting for its wax tomorrow when my order arrives.
  5. someone with a rotary who doesnt know what they are doing. guessing the dealer got the car in and had their detailer clean it up for sale and looks like he killed it.
  6. This will be freshwater, as im in Chi so im guessing he goes to local rivers or lake mich. So would Americana be effective enough for protection on the boat? i could understand all the top side stuff i could use that on, like a car to protect from sun, but im wondering about the water side. Thanks for all the info so far! Looks like i wont have to order much more then some more Adams products!
  7. Holy hell! Lambo needs to fire their detailer asap! Good pics to look throught. craziest before and after i have seen on a car, let alone a lambo. 115 Hour Correction/Restoration On Brand New Lamborghini Superleggera - NAGTROC - The Nissan GT-R Owners Club
  8. Im telling yal... that stone is THEEEE best pet hair remover. doesnt matter if its tiny needle like hair or long wavy women's hair all over, it pick it all up and moves it down the carpet like in the video above. i quick vac the mat or carpet then use the stone to pull anything from grass to debris right to my vacuum. 100x better then those sticker rollers or name brand hair pads.
  9. as stated, im not reall worried about the gel coat. Customer DOESNT want me touching it aside from a hand wash when i wash the boat, as the coat is brand new. Im just trying to get some info if Adams polish products work on boats for the panels that are NOT coated in gel ( basically about a foot below the water and up to the top of the boat, is what i have to work on. Im guessing i should look into at least a marine wax instead of like the Americana. Any info, insight, links is great! Thanks yal!
  10. Heres the one i bought and i LOVE it! Pet Hair Removal Stone « Wholesale Microfiber Car Towels – By TowelPros video
  11. Look up a pet hair stone on google or on here. I know someone on here linked a sweet pet hair stone for removing pet hair. i bought one from the site for like 18 bucks shipped, and holy crap, it is like my best interior cleaner tool. just pull it across the carpet and it moves all the hair down to the vacuum.
  12. im not worried about the gel coating on the bottom side of the boat. he doesnt want me to touch it aside from hand wash. Im just worrying about anything at the waterline and above.
  13. I recently aquired a new customer from a local car forum, and im detailing all his personal vehicles. about 8 of them plus 2 bikes, and a full drag car. Ive completed two cars so far, a TransAm WS6 and Chevy 1500 work truck. Hes very happy with the turnouts and I thank most of that to Adam's Products. The ONLY product i use. Well he asked me today while swapping cars, if i wanted to do his 24ft boat. Ive never done a boat, but hell, im game to detail a boat. ( Good $$$) My question .... Does Adams products work on boats? the lower half of the bottom side is cover in a protective like plastic coating to prevent algea growth, so i dont have to worry about detailing any of that besides hand wash. Basically, anything water and above needs to be polished and waxed. So im trying to do a bit of research on what kind of products i need. Anything special for protecting in water from rust and other issues? (If Adams doesnt work, maybe we can still discuss another product that i could look into to plan on this in the future for if i need to order stuff) Thanks as always!
  14. PC. and speed 5 and 6 and directed by instructions and videos.
  15. hrmmmm good to know... now. lol. Should i soak my current ones in APC for awhile to try and release some of the waxes?
  16. my line or X was always very thin. Never gobbed up a huge amount or anything on the pads.
  17. What do yal do when it comes to the Americana pad ? soak it in a tub of APC for awhile? do you clean after each use or just place back into americana tub for next time? I tried cleaning one last year after use and it seemed troublesome to try and get it nice and clean, so i used another and had been just putting it back in the tub when im done. but for some reason after looking at a car i waxed last night, it seems like the pad has induced small swirl/scratches all over. Pad too clogged? doesnt really seem like theres any bad contaminents on it or anything that would scratch it tho, and havent noticed this on any other car.
  18. Cleaned out the pad heavily yesterday and seem to not be having too much of an issue. Maybe the X is what clogged me up to much yesterday.
  19. wierd cause last year i never really seemed to have this problem. I mean i barely used any polish yesterday and it was loaded. Then when i try flushin/adding just DS. sometimes it seems like theres too much DS and then when i go to apply to car its all watery/runny and creates polish whip everywhere. going to have to look into this new brush. I need to stock up on more product and new stuff as well soon!
  20. Using a PC. I havnt watched the videos in over year but when i saw Adam do it he applied a medium sized X. I always do that to start and aftert is just pea drops. Car was properly washed with Shampoo/APC mixture, clay bared, and went over with IPA as well ( my usual process before any machine work). I think this pad may just starting to become used up and it may have sat over winter with some polish in it still im thinking. Its slighly clearing out now but im just going to wash it and let it sit for the night and finish up tomorrow. Thankfully car doesnt need to be returned today.
  21. For some reason this orange pad gets loaded fast. Im workin on a car now for a detail, and i primed my brand new clean pad, did a X. got one side of the hood done. just primed it, got other side of hood done. went to the fender, added tiny bit of DS, and a few dots of SHR, did my thang. and Now im continueing on, and i cant seem to get this pad to flush out and clear. its caking up bad of polish. Ive tried just adding DS and doing a section, its still doing its work, but the pores on this pad are so clogged now. Flushing is not working, and now its either too wet, or once the DS dries up on a few passes it starts chalking and throwing polish dust everywhere.( ive read over the sticky on dusting and issues) is there something im doing wrong? ive only applied polish twice( one X and one application of 3 pea dots), and ive gotten the whole door and rear fender done with just adding a mist of DS and its still not clearing out. So im like half way through the car and it looks very clogged and not doing to much work now. ive never had any issues with the white pad and FMP doing this.
  22. nice job as always buddy. looks like he bought that car in my town by the plate frame lol
  23. yeah i had a 2002GT and liked that body style but the new ones are kidna growing on me. at least when they have those better from facias and no fog lights in the center.
  24. Got to clean up a buddies other mustang he just picked up. Came in a little durty and its gonna leave looking wet! I like the murdered look on these stangs. Just my typical Exterior done on this one... 2 Bucket Hand wash APC wheel clean DS spray Isopropyl Alc wipe Clay Bar Fine Machine Polish w/ white pad - 1 set Machine Super Sealant Brilliant Glaze Americana Paste Wax Glass Cleaner before: After: Always done with Adam's Products of course.
