  1. I respectfully disagree. On a hard clear coat, S&HR doesn't do much correction, hence, why SSR came out.
  2. Nice work! You should have had some halogen pics after the correction, too.
  3. Thanks. I'm just curious how the drill adapter exactly fits compared to other 3" backing plates that can be used with DA polishers. I just received my 4" focus pads, they're sweet!
  4. The new 4" pads have a little plastic ring back(as you know). Does the drill adapter sit on top of the plastic ring, or, inside the plastic ring only touching the velcro? Thanks!
  5. Yeah, Im figuring it's even easier to control with the waffle design, but will it correct as good as a FLAT pad?
  6. with Meguiar's M101 and the Flex 3401. Wow, it really worked great! The combo removed some deep swirls, oxidation, and finished nicely. Some might say it's the M101, which is in part true, BUT, I've used M101 with other foam cutting pads, and didn't get this good of result. Also, I REALLY like how it's so soft for a cutting pad. That makes it very easy to control. So, the 4th generation pad is even better?
  7. Also, is the actual foam different than the previous generation, or is it just the pattern?
  8. Is the diameter of the Velcro backing 4"?
  9. It horribly dried out the interior panels on my z06. Left white spots all over. Never said an acidic cleaner wasn't safe to use, BUT, not on delicate interior surfaces. For example, acidic cleaners can effectively be used on *clear coated* wheels. Do a search on this forum. There's plenty of threads saying to be very cautious with this cleaner.
  10. Makes plenty of sense the sprayer went bad considering it's a very acidic product. It's definitely not safe, like claimed on the website.
  11. Makes sense. I have a bissel auto, but not a steamer. I spray the carpets undiluted, then wipe like I normally would. If needed, I'll go over the carpets with the extractor using C&U diluted 4:1. Gives a little more bite than just plain water. If I had a steamer, I'd probably just use water too.
  12. EASILY the best C&U cleaner I've used! Dave, did you dilute it 4:1 when using the Bissel?
  13. Damn, Chris, that's IMPRESSIVE, especially the durability of QS on the trim!!!
