New Wheels and Cleaning
mcotton replied to mcotton's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
They are the Camaro ZL1 rims in chrome. -
I got some new Chrome wheels and wanted to know what Adams products you use to clean Chrome. My guess would be Adam's Metal Polish 1 & 2 Combo? - Mike

Detailing Seminar this weekend
mcotton posted a question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
This weekend Kevin and I did a brief 30 minute detail seminar for a BMW club. Since we only had 30 minutes we discussed products to use, techniques, etc. We received great feedback and next year we will show more hands on as they are giving us more time to actually show the members how to use the products. After the seminar we took a drive up the mountain and had a great time. Cant wait to do this again next year. Mike -

Who has a detailing "side business"
mcotton replied to K5/TBSS's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I do details on the side and once pollen season ends will start up again. I started a company on the side as an LLC just in case someone decides to try and sue me, gotta pertect the family. I typically do a full detail which consist of wash, interior, and full paint correction. Being in a Camaro club I do a ton of Camaro's and have tought many people how to detail their own cars. Check out my site for what I do and then try doing a few cars to perfect your skills and you can cut your time for full detail I can do an average car in about 9 hours, however if the customer wants a show quality pefect paint correction its closer to 18 hours. Welcome to Busted Knuckle Detailing (try the site tomm as I was having issues with the website from a renewel issue that was just fixed and should work in the morning). The site shows some cars I did as well as some pricing. I recently added interior only which I need to add to my pricing as I have a few customers that like the interior monthly and do the more expensive details once or twice a year. Good luck. Mike -

So I got my order of Adam's Detail Spray the NEW FORMULA and it rocks. I washed my DD a 2012 Camaro 2SS/RS (Thor) and check out the results. 1. I started with APC on the wheels, Adam’s Turbo Stick Wheel Cleaning Tool, and Adam’s Trim & Lug Nut Brush 2. Then a 2 bucket wash with Adam’s Grit Guard Car Wash Buckets and Adam’s Car Wash Shampoo 3. Dryed using the Adam’s Blaster Sidekick Dryer & Adam's Great White Microfiber Drying Towel 4. I used the Adam’s Super VRT Tire & Trim Dressing for the tires and engine 5. On the interior I used Adam’s Leather & Interior Cleaner & Adam’s Leather & Interior Conditioner 6. I then did a clay using Adam’s Detailing Clay Bar 200 Grams & Adam's Detail Spray the NEW FORMULA 7. I then used the Adam’s Americana Paste Wax and used a Adam’s Single Soft Microfiber Towels to wipe off and touch up with the Adam's Detail Spray the NEW FORMULA. I typically use a Adam’s double Soft Microfiber Towel, but tried a Single to see how i liked the Single Car came out very nice. -
Good job. Car looks great

Where did you get the 3M Adhesive Remover? I see that Amazon sells 3M Adhesive Remover. -
Just had my wheels balanced this weekend and the dealer left the sticky stuff they use to keep the weights on the wheels, what can I use to clean off the sticky stuff? Thanks, Mike

Love the car. The detail was fun, but the drive after was a blast.
