  1. I never thought of that.I'm going to try that on mine.thanks for the idea
  2. i would use either of the single soft or double soft towels,my car has alot of that chrome plastic on the inside & i had the same issue,if the surface is real dirty rather than just wipe it use some of the leather interior cleaner first.
  3. I wash mine around 7pm I have a huge oak tree that shades my driveway so by that time the airs a little cooler & i usually have a nice breeze,so its kinda relaxing!
  4. Ive been using the same applicator now for about a year now,I clean it with the multi purpose cleaner, I should retire it i have a bunch more but its still in great shape so i hate to get rid of it.
  5. I decided to detail my steam shower,I have well water so theres alot of hard water stains.heres what i used to get this shine back all purpose cleaner focus pads fine machine polish severe swirl remover swirl and haze remover americana wax brilliant glaze metal polish glass cleaner glass sealant Picture before i started Bottom of tub before picture Work in progress.this is after the 3 step polishes. This was a section of scratches before i started Here is the same section as above but after the 3 steps of polishes and after a coat of glaze and americana wax This is the final result after using all items here is the whole shower once completed, all water marks and stain are gone! I did not picture the use of the glass sealant or polishing of the glass,I couldnt get a good photo with out a reflection but it made a huge diffrence
  6. I have the focus pads, ill try it by hand first & if no change ill move on the the focus pads.
  7. depending on how tight the spot is i've used a Q-tip to remove dried wax out cracks
  8. was wondering any tips or ideas on how to remove swirl marks on my wheels. they're factory SRT wheels they look chrome but i think they must have a clear coat on them because if you try metal polish no residue shows up.they have a nice shine only problem is when the sun hits them you see swirl marks on them.
  9. that's a great idea.I bought a flex last year have yet to try it because I never have enough time.I love the idea of a couple panels every so often to keep up on it rather than spending a whole day on it or more.thanks for the tip!
  10. I agree with Dave.I have a black car garage kept not driven in the rain and I've noticed swirls again its been almost 9months since I've polished it with the pc.I wash it weekly the swirls arnt that bad so when I'm ready to polish shouldnt have to do all three steps again.I think no matter how careful you are your going to get them over time
  11. That's what it was.car was washed but wasn't coated or waxed of a couple of years and I thought id try to give it a quick boost in shine Wheni used it on my car was very simple to use
  12. The quick sealant is awesome.gives a great shine.I spray it on all the black plastic trim and it makes that shine.my only advise would be make sure its been coated and waxed recently.I tryed it on a car that wasn't waxed in a while and was hard to wipe off.
  13. My prelude had the same issue when I got it. I used a Mr clean eraser which got most of it off for the rest I used 2000 grit sandpaper.I finshed it with some paint sealant
  14. I use it on my black leather seats with great results.I normally rub it in with the red pad let it sit for about half an hour and buff it off and the finish ends up looking natural with no greasy feeling
  15. Not a bad idea to use by hand, beats messing your rags up
  16. just wondering if anyone has tried the new metal polish pads?i was thinking of getting one just curious on how they work
