Matte Black Wheels Cleaning.
ssbusdrvr replied to ssbusdrvr's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
Thanks again guys. galaxy any pics of your gt350 wheels with just the G&G on them or are they coated too? Thx So for now just going to wash with the Car Wash Shampoo when it gets here. Maybe try some of the G&G on them since have some on the way now to use on Car or pick up a bottle of Matte Detailer. Who knows might just like the way it looks. lol Would sure seem easier to strip off than using a Coating if don't like it. Main concern is damage, streaking or hazing of the the finish on them. hagd -

Thanks guys. Thank you. Will do mc2hill -
Been in hibernation for 3 years. First time back today. Was buying off local distributor and just made first online purchase in ages this past weekend. First time with Matte Black Wheels. Just put Forgestar New Drag Version F14 Wheels on Car. Want to keep the Flat Satin look,no bright shine, hazing or streaking. How to best accomplish with what products? Just bought a wash kit with some Shampoo and H20 gloss to try for the first time but figure that would probably leave too much of a sheen? (Did do some searching first) Thanks.

Lets See Those Detailed Engine Compartments

No. Really haven't did much at all under the hood cosmetically. May be going to a different Engine and Blower Setup this year including a coil relocation. -
Lets See Those Detailed Engine Compartments
ssbusdrvr replied to Chris@Adams's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
More go than show under the hood but the New Detail Spray and In&Out helped land a first place in class at an all Camaro and Firebird Show two weeks ago. Love In&Out for engine compartment. -
DWC New Lug Brush.

OK True Test. Inherited a mechanically alright cosmetically really beaten to death neglected 110k '05 Mini. Went out and decided to test on a wheel. Thing has not seen a wash in quite awhile. Sprayed DWC on and waited for about a minute or so. Aggitated quickly with an old MF Pad and rinsed. No scrubbing and scrubbing. Truely was astonished! No cleaner has come close to removing baked on crud on these wheels. Just gave up a few months ago. If look close you can see where I sprayed some of inner wheel area with built up crud that probably hasn't seen any cleaner in years. It removed it. Would have bet big time that no cleaner would take the neglect off these wheels. Hope yet for this little dirtball. -

Thanks Yeah need to go get a new pressure washer. Extra couple of minutes of rinsing did the trick with a hose. -

Well arrived on schedule on Frid:) and used them on Sat. Great results and best wheel cleaner have used by far. Have been basically using just the shampoo and water wheel woolies and cleaning. Taking LOTS of time. Wheels are never that super dirty to begin with but get the annoying dust dirt layer and dirt in the crevices that usually nothing but Qtips and Time can get it out producing a sore back in the process. lol. Aggitated with wheel woolies and lugbrush after letting it sit until it turned color. Didn't mind the smell at all. The only issue I had was I needed to rinse the wheels better. Thought I got it rinsed good but when blowing out the water it was coming out purple where some solution got trapped between the lip liners and around the calipers/ backside of wheels. No biggie Went back and rinsed again. Turned out great imho. Going to try it again this week on one of our other cars and seriously dirty wheels. Pleased with how you can see the DWC work and it did not stain. More well thought out Adam's products that makes detailing just a little bit easier.

Courtesy of the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor (must visit) This day in aviation history (March 6, 1942): the Army Air School at Tuskegee, AL graduated the first 5 black military pilots. George Roberts, Benjamin Davis Jr, Charles BeBow Jr, Mac Ross and Lemuel Custis were the first of nearly 100 Tuskegee aviators to complete Army flight training and receive their silver wings. No problem.Hope to see you at a future event. Man the wind was bad Sat Even with sunscreen got wind/sunburn on the face. My wife says when take the hat off I look like a fishing bobber lol. Hope Adam's has some new customers. Some I met were really impressed with the Travel size DS that was in the Goody Bags. Here are a couple of Burnouts for Charity that I put up on the Tube. One was a Sponsor's Corvette and a friend who couldn't let the Corvette go at it alone lol:2thumbs: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFpXWAPARuQ]Burnout - YouTube[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGECFSmceek]Burnout SunshineStateCamaroRally - YouTube[/ame] -
NEW Detail Spray Feedback.
ssbusdrvr replied to Team Adam's's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Thanks Yeah I really don't have a great sense of smell here guess thats lucky sometimes lol. Like to add. Is there a big difference between new and old when misting it on after rinse? I used the old formula last wash for misting. Thanks. -
