Went to an Antique Show in Portland, managed to pick up 3 vintage Gillette Razors, need some clean up to see date codes, but they all open well and the safety bars look straight. For $20 I couldn't pass them up.

Was the winner announced? I mean I didn't get an email, so pretty sure I didn't win either.

I'm with you, we are in the heart of pumpkin spice season and I hate it. Twice this week the food blog I look at had nothing by pumpkin spice products on the entire front page.

I used to get that so much when I lived in one apartment, every time the neighbor that I shared a driveway with came in and I was washing he would say that, I had enough one time, so I washed his when he went in....

Got my new rear bumper installed on my Dakota yesterday, after a little runaround from the person's insurance company that rear ended me. I got them to just pay me out and I bought a new bumper online and put it on myself. Not sure why it was going to take them a week to do it at a body shop.

Best Bathroom mirror anit-fog I have tried is Barbasol Shaving Cream from the can. Apply just enough to coat the mirror, a little water will help, the soap coating will keep the condensation from setting on the mirror eliminating the fog.

I got a bottle of Ceramic Boost in my last Mystery Bucket, used it on the wife's Veloster and it left a very slick finish. I had little wax or anything left, short of what wash-n-wax was laying down and even under the reminants of the ashfall the rain was beading off with no issue.

I got mine Friday, but had a busy weekend and didn't get to use them yet. The tough glass towel has a nice texture that should be good for a hard scrub on a stubborn window and has a sponge like quality when pinched. The Micro silk towel seems similar to other small glass towels I've had in glasses cleaning kits or that have come with various electronics though much larger and of better quality one would expect from Adam's.

Some good ones this month, keep them coming.

Too beat to post up after Sunday at Rose City, got there early for the Twisted Toonz panel (check them out on Youtube, one from a few years ago when they did a Star Wars read ended up with Jim Cummings reading Darth Vader as Winnie the Pooh), ran into Jess Harnell on the floor actually on the way to see if we could talk to him again and let him know how good the CD was, the guy remembered our names and asked first if we liked it, with everyone he met leading up to us being in front of him for 2 or 3 minutes the day before.... man just a really nice guy and a heck of a memory. Ran into some friends, had a good time walking through artist alley, just a fun weekend overall. Already planning our Emerald City trip for next year.

Day 2 of Rose City Comic Con, got to see panels with John de Lancie and Rose McIver(had no idea she was from New Zealand). Last panel of the day was a voice actor one, got to talk to Jess Harnell afterward and get a signed cd from his band Rocksugar. Had to leave before seeing the costume contest so we could get across the road to see Gabriel Iglesias as part of the Fluffymania Tour. Have to get up early to get back for Twisted Toons at 10:30.

I was just on checking new products on Thursday and didn't see them, guessing it's a new posting not fully open for sale.

Attended day 1 of Rose City Comic Con, got a picture with Weird Al Yankovic and got him to sign a Blu-ray copy of UHF!

I know that truck! So far I've let it blow off by driving to work each day. St. Helens was compounded with the Volcanic ash (the really abrasive stuff) and this is just from the forest fires so it would be less abrasive I believe. When you wash break out the foam gun and allow it to dwell enough to mobilize the remaining ash, possible rinse and re-foam before actually beginning a wash.

Don't drink the Wheel Cleaner.

It would seem I am the only person that does not care for Pumpkin Spice scented or flavored items.....

Now I might have to order some of the new microfiber towels. There are the new Micro-silk towels and a Tough Glass towel.

Interested in the results. I can attest Revive is great on plastics to remove fine scratches and clouding, so I am curious in its affect on glass.

Just put 2 hours of light smoke on some rib tips, have them in the crock pot with a mix of BBQ sauce and water for a few hours. I didn't take any pics before you ask, plus I need to find a new photo server with Photobucket going pay for hosting.

New or "new", if it's brand new car it could just be out gassing of the plastics as mentioned above, give it a good clean, alcohol wipe down (also mentioned above) and reapply the glaze.
