  1. For the money the Sidekick is had to beat, I just could never justify the price on the Blaster.
  2. My oldest bottles did thin and go a little brown in the end, no basement and no AC so mine end up in the heat no matter. I may need to make room in my small garage fridge.
  3. Great color on the Mustang and I hope you let us know how the Eco-Boost drives (I think it could be an underrated performance option). As noted above for sure clay the car and it may need a light correction, never "perfect" (your judgement call) from the factory. I would go with the new Americana, it has great protection and the new formula is so easy to apply and remove. Detail spray is another must have, pairing it with the great white or new plush drying towel will make drying quick and safe. Guard and Gloss will make a nice addition to your list above for the missing sealant. Happy motoring!
  4. Ok, you meant actually building.... Looks to be coming along nicely. The Bedliner should help with it getting wet or drips from bottles.
  5. Put my new breaker bar to use to get my snow wheels off the rear of my truck. I had them put on at a local chain tire place and 1 lug on each rear wheel was too tight with my 4-way. All 4 of the factory 16inch wheels are back on. Now I just need to get my 17inch R/T wheels prepped for install.
  6. See, you just get numb to a super clean car, so if it isn't ready to take first at a show it isn't good enough. The level I clean my second (at least) hand 2002 Dakota with all the small dents and scratches it came with you'd think it was on the cover of Street Trucks or something. 2-4 bucket wash, foam gun, different pads for top and bottom, 4 brushes for the stock wheels...... I think I have a sickness. Love the SS though.
  7. Found a great deal on a set of factory Dakota R/T wheels, so made a run to Seattle and back for them this morning. Currently I'm melting as it is over 100 degrees....
  8. I don't get how this is tolerated. How can this company get away without being on the hook to fix all the cars they are powder coating when the owner doesn't want it. If they walked up with a spray can it would be vandalism.
  9. The Dawn and cheap microfiber, an old neighbor was that guy, you've never seen such dull paint
  10. During a slow spot a work searched a bit online for some factory 17 inch R/T wheels for my Dakota, these things are like hens teeth.
  11. I don't believe the Adam's line is abrasive enough to be very effective on glass, but as Jim noted above #0000 Steel Wool with glass cleaner will knock down most stubborn items from glass with no ill effects.
  12. The new aerosol does wonders to reduce streaks, I use it in conjunction with the semi-hated microfiber Adam's glass towels (I like them) and find the paring to work great on exterior glass. I should note that it isn't recommended on tint due to some of the chemicals in it. As noted above, #0000 Steel Wool will buff down the exterior like you've never seen, knocks out wiper tracks with ease. Interior glass I clean with the normal Adam's Glass cleaner and normal towel (green or blue), but then follow up with a coating of brilliant glaze and my glass ends up looking better than I've even gotten it before.
  13. Darn it Greg, now I have to go to a Starbucks for a pump..... wonder if I can just talk them out of a pump with out buying the coffee stuff... Yes, I live in the Pacific north West and am not a fan of coffee...
  14. I still have the whole 3 step process, I know they are past their shelf life, but the last I shook one up it still looked and felt fine. I have a used cap/canopy on my truck that needs repainted anyway so I will try it out to see what it does.
  15. Adam's video #21 goes over this well and is the process I follow.
  16. I got one of the shorter bristle red/black tire brushes in my mystery bucket, tried it out today and while it works great I am having the bristle loss that everyone was mentioning above, not sure if this is part of a specific lot of brushes or a difference in the build for these mid-stiffness brush. Anyone find a good stop-gap for the loss, I was thinking maybe some type of glue dripped into the holes to help hold them in....
  17. Got to test out the new to me lawn mower I picked up the other weekend, the drive system is pretty neat. The more you push into the handle the faster it goes, can make it a little pulsey on some of my uneven spots in the yard. Also broke out the wash stuff to wash my Dakota, we are supposed to have rain later this week and I'm heading to Pocatello again next week.
  18. Nice, you've got a Jaaaaaaaaaaaggg.... I love the look of those sedans, is that a dial shifter? Or some sort of push button arrangement?
  19. Ok, now I'm convinced I don't have enough stuff, the wife thinks I have too much.
  20. I like option B, the replica Camaro SS Style are almost too like the stock wheels on your SS already.
  21. I think everyone has you covered for an answer, but be careful using Adam in the videos as a gauge of how much product to use, he can get a little product happy.
  22. Picked up a used Lawn Boy rear bagging lawn mower (no more raking for me), starts pretty easy, has a interesting drive system, spring loaded handle controls the speed so it keeps pace with you. Now I want the grass to grow some to give it a workout.
  23. Thanks Joe, after putting up the pics I realized I hadn't counted in awhile. I apparently have 50 razors with what's shown and the one I had in the stand in the bathroom. These are mostly vintage Gillettes (Super Speeds, Slim Adjustables, a Black Beauty, a Fatboy in it's case and a Toggle, plus some older Techs, Old Types and a couple News). There are a few Schicks (Black and Silver tip Kronas) and some new offerings from RazoRock.
