  1. If Buttery was any easier to take off it would be hard to even put down on the surface. I guess when I've tested it's hot panel removal I have had to work at it a little.
  2. I seem to recall mention of using Revive Hand Polish on convertible top soft windows. I know it works great on clear plastics as I used it to polish out a Vintage Gillette Razor case that was hazed and milky, came out very clear.
  3. Some Adam's All Purpose Cleaner should cut right through it, Wheel Cleaner if that doesn't work. I've never had it get stuck like that. You will need to reapply and wax or sealant as either step above will remove the protection.
  4. I didn't see that it did that, yep Idaho.
  5. Congrats Dustin! 42 over here, coming up on 20 years of marriage in August. Went to the Portland Swap meet today, got to pick up some Adam's stuff from Gary Parham. No time to use anything for at least another week as I head out to Pocatello ID to cover our customer site for the week.
  6. Looks good, Ford Tuxedo Black? The dusting can come down to too much product or simply the pad drying out too much. I had issues with the pad drying when polishing outdoors when it was a bit hot.
  7. It looks like extremely hard water etching to me, had a black rental on one of my trips to Pocatello. It was swirled, but that isn't relevant, the hotel had a sprinkler system that go the car wet no matter where i parked and had super hard water. That thing had water spots you could feel by then end of the week. The parking in garages comes down to water dripping on the vehicle that could have filtered down from upper levels of a garage picking up who knows what as it makes its way to your vehicle.
  8. Impossible, you just miss-judged the amount of boxes by 30%.
  9. One thing I am short of right now is a "BFH", excuse to buy more tools!
  10. Man you guys are making me look bad, made an attempt at replacing both the front hubs on Dakota. Got it up on jack stands, pulled the caliper off and beat and tugged on he disk, but never got it to come off the hub. Should have know they would be bad, when I had my snow wheels/tire put on the guy had to kick the stock ones to break them free. I have new disks coming, so once they are in I can pull the disk and hub as one.
  11. I see your point, but Adam's does at least let you know up front where the products are made. The change was brought on by us, we the consumers wanted products not available from US Companies, so Adam's researched places that paid living wages and treated their people well as sources for the new products. They still back everything 110% so the quality is there and at least you are supporting 1 American company in still shopping with Adam's.
  12. He's going to have the cleanest car in the high school parking lot.
  13. Are you going for most square footage per detail with these? How many miles do we get out of the pads?
  14. Wow, we need to get that set up out here in the Northwest to a show... I'll have to let my wife hold my wallet if it does
  15. Not sure what happened, but never found the Adam's booth if it was there. Gary was listed as a sponsor of the event, but didn't have a booth. The annual April Swap Meet is coming up in a few weeks and there is usually an Adam's dealer there as well, so I will hold my cash for that event to make my purchases (too much rain in the forecast to rush into orders). http://www.portlandswapmeet.com/
  16. I'm a big fan of the Red Shampoo, not that the Blue is bad, just feel like I always got better suds out of the Red. Wash pad vs mitt is a big debate around here. I have never like wash mitts, so I've not used Adam's version, love the pads and the wash wedge, so I'm sure the mitt is excellent quality.
  17. I got one in the last round, they are nicely made and worth the money, not flimsy like some if the metal signs you will find in various places. Starting my garage overhaul this weekend to get wall space for the sign and 2 banners I've gotten in the last couple years.
  18. The Wash and Wax is great in the bucket, didn't like it too much through my non-Adam's foam gun.
  19. Didn't do it yet, but I'm going to the Portland Roadster show today. oops, wrong thread, guess I mis-clicked on my tablet this morning....
  20. Portland Roadster show starts today! Looks like Gary Parham (local Adam's Dealer) will be there, good guy great to talk to, often we get one of the Adam's Colorado guys there too. http://www.portlandroadstershow.com/
  21. So far I haven't liked the Wash n Wax in my non-Adam's foam gun. The Blue was better and the Red the best. The Wash n Wax is great in the bucket.
  22. Once you've corrected, sealed and waxed your finish the SideKick will clear most any body panel with no trouble.
  23. I would start with a de-greaser like Kevin noted above, an oily film could be any number of things, but you need to get that gone first and for-most.
  24. Site is up, but the Flash Sale section is gone....
