  1. Well perfect timing on this post. I was just about to ask the same thing. A buddy brought his Porsche by my shop last weekend to take a look at it. He had just gotten it, and knew I could make it look good (since all I use is Adams). It has the 3M clearbra stuff ALL OVER IT. Hardly a spot that isn't covered. And the previous owner took it through machine car washes so naturally, it looks terrible. I told him I didn't think I could do much on correcting the spiderweb-orgy going on all over his car. And I was going to ask the same question. It confirmed my thoughts, fine polishes only. Has anyone tried to remove this stuff off of a car before? I imagine the tacky residue is a nightmare. Pics for grins and giggles.
  2. Thanks guys, I'm not worried about drying it out as much as I am making sure to pull as much of the dirt out as I can. This will be in my ski boat, so renting an upright won't fly. Space is limited.
  3. I'm getting the adams Carpet cleaner and will be doing my boat's carpet soon. I've got enough projects right now that I don't want to buy a steamer for one job. So my question is, if I clean and scrub the carpets with Adams and the stiff brush, would a shop vac work well on removing most of the moisture, excess, dirt, etc? I can switch it to run wet, and use that. My vac has great power and suction. Has anyone done this?
