  1. It's a friend from work. I referred him to Adam's, so he might show up here one day. One day he asked me if he could borrow "a hose and a sponge" to wash his car. Needless to say, we treated the BRZ to its first two bucket wash with Adam's stuff...and now he's hooked.
  2. I like this picture, even though it's not close enough to show the real shine:
  3. I echo Len's answer. It really just depends on the person. There are a few guys I know from the G8 forums that have heavily modified their cars both performance wise and looks-wise. Some have kept theirs 100% stock. With car enthusiasts though, it's more common to see at least a few modifications done, though.
  4. I had one for a while...black 2004: I bought it with around 70-something thousand miles, sold it with 98k on it. It was okay for what it was. It wasn't fast by any means (but was faster than the 2002 Grand Marquis I had before). My old Caprice would tear it a new one, though. ...and we won't talk about how the G8 compares. It also had the most random things go wrong with it. I had a brake caliper bolt fall out when I was on the highway. That caused the brake rotor to rotate outwards into the inside of the rim as the brakes were put on....but only in reverse. Also, the parking brake exploded inside the drum on the rear axle, causing obnoxious noise. Both of these were fairly weird to diagnose, and probably wouldn't have happened with a "normally" maintained car. Let's not get started about the condition of the paint, either. "swirls" were really non-existent compared to the number of actual scratches all over the hood. That being said, it was awesome. Everyone moves out of your way on the highway for some reason. ...and if you go the speed limit everyone else does, too. Would I buy one again? Probably not, but it was a fun, generally reliable car for cheap money.
  5. I would totally get this if I didn't already have a gallon of the revitalizer already. It's a good deal for sure.
  6. I actually did the same thing with some leftover off-brand detail spray during my last correction. All the work you do after the clay will be what counts in terms of shiny. Do your wheels first in terms of cleaning. Then wash the car, etc.
  7. The G8 is getting a TVS2300 along with BMR toe rods, trailing arms, sub-frame connectors and some other random bushings. The truck will be jealous, though.
