  1. Thanks to all for your info. I will be polishing it up this week, and will post photos. Thanks again!
  2. I have a 96 Camaro. I dont really know if it is clear coat finish or not. I need to buff out some scratches. I have a PC random polisher and all the Adams products to go with it. What do I use on this year's paint? Is there a difference in polishing technique or products on clear coat vs. not? And how can I tell if it is clear coat? - By the way, it has been garaged it's entire life, and the body and car are in excellent condition, so I dont want to screw this one up. Thanks to anyone who can help.
  3. I own an 02 Wide Glide, and read all the Harley magazines. I have never heard of this anywhere. I wax mine just like I do my cars. But...make sure you dont put any "shine" on the tires! (If you are not a rider, just to let you know that shine on bike tires makes them slick - something you definately dont want on a motorcycle.)
  4. Oh, and the cars that are missing in the photo is a 96 Camaro ragtop, a 2008 Mustang, the the usual family car - a 2005 Acura MDX.
  5. Couple pics of my garage. have to still get rid of the lawn mower. Have a lift on order to go where the vette is standing. Trash compactor is the white object. I guess I should clean up my work bench.
  6. I wash my engine every time I wash my car. Using all Adams products, finishing off with IN and Out spray. I never have my engine running, and no problems. the C6 is built for it. Wash away!
  7. 2007 Monterrey Red Vette Coupe 2008 Blue Mustang Coupe 1996 black Camaro Convertible (restored to "brand new") 2005 black Acura MDX (guess which car is the daily driver) 2002 Harley Davidson Wide Glide - more chrome than red And yes, I use a LOT of Adams products. And hopefully getting the orbital sander and associated products for Christmas. Love the products. And I spend a lot of time in my customized garage, being the "crazy detailing neighbor" But at 54 and retired, its a great life.
  8. I love my U-Coat-It floor. I used plenty of the non slip on it. I used almost double what they recommended for my floor size, but I did double coats of the clear, and plenty of the flakes. The muriatic acid is easy. One gallon of acid to four gallons of water. It is no problem at all. If you have used muriatic acid in your swimming pool, you know that handling it is easy. Get it at Lowes. That is the easy part. Once I figure out how to post a photo, I will put it on here. The hardest part was waiting a week to put any cars back onto it, and leaving my vette outside.
