  1. At our shop and our personal cars we put leather conditioner on all leather seats unless specified by manufacture like fords king ranch allpy as needed if you need to clean it use total interior detailers or if extream ly dirty use leather and interior cleaner then follow with leather conditioner
  2. We use Rinseless wash for 95% of our washing at our shop the best we have found is 2oz solution to 4 gallons of water don't ring out the mf all the way keep it wet that way the mf glides along the paint if it catches you need more water. Only if the car is super dusty do we Pre spray a panel. A car that size and that clean would take me about 15 to 20 min total to Rinsless wash. Do one panel and wipe with another towel behind your wet towel top to bottom as always and don't use it as a 2 bucket wash your just waistline time and its easier to wash towels them to wring them out and re use them
  3. we have a few brand new fords as well if the truck is tuxedo back the paint is super soft and you can get most small scratches and swirls out with a few passes of paint finishing polish on the white pad. After you get the paint were you want it just keep up with a good wash technique and it will keep future swirls to a minimum.
  4. I like stong smells as long as its a good smell and not a chemical smell. When you dilute Rinseless wash the smell isn't as strong Thanks it's a sweet car
  5. We just got a few inches out here in colorado and its been between -10 and 5 degrees all week. I can't wait for warmer weather
  6. So I picked up some of the new Adams Rinsless wash and I did a side by side test with Optimums NoRinse wash (ONR). The test subject is my 2013 Focus ST that is garage kept and in perfect condition I was it as needed with ONR and with 2 bucket when needed. How does the new Rinseless wash stack up to ONR? In my opinion both products do a great job of cleaning the car but Adams Rinseless wash felt slicker on the paint and glides across the surface much easier. Adams Rinseless Wash wipes off better and leaves less streaks after wipe off. The best part is that Adams Rinseless Wash leaves a slick finish unlike ONR were you will have to detail spray after to get a slick streak free finish. My opinion: Adams Rinseless all the way
  7. I have had some bad customer service from dealers but nothing like that. If I was selling cars and a customer came in and was serious about buying 2 new cars I'd be all over it. I guess these dealers think that they are the only one they can do what they want I would go out of town to buy and have the dealer transport the new cars to your house.
  8. Wow you can get those at any big box store for $1 how can people just throw away money like that.
  9. I have detailed a few chrome clad grills here in CO. I would clad the FMP and white pad on the 4" pc. If that doesn't work go to SHR and orange that should take off the nasty stuff. Then protect I always spray my car off after a snow
  10. For sale Michelin sport 3 Size p235 40 18 6/32 tread left out of 9/32 no curb rash no plugs Asking $650 Obo

  12. my wife has a 12 focus and scuffed the lack plastic i used leather and interior cleaner and the interior brush and the scuff came off
  13. I hate people I just bought a new focus st and we took it out to dinner the other night some tool with a Toyota fj parked over the line about 3 inches off my car got my first scratch and dent. Let's just say he got his. People need to learn don't touch stuff that's not yours and if your given permission treat it with care it's not yours
  14. Sorry to hear about your loss. Car looks good though
  15. You night just mar it up with the pc due to its low polishing power. You might be able to find a shop that does plexi glass construction
  16. I wouldn't touch that with a PC I asked a similar question on another forum and you will need a direct drive buffer and a bunch of experience to not ruin the plexi glass the heat build up and hazing will be your biggest issue
  17. I have the same kind of trim on our focus try fmp but it will come back after you wash it. The piano black scratches so easy if you press to hard with a microfiber you can scratch it
  18. This happened to me the first day I got my new truck 100 some miles and a huge dent and chip.
  19. I agree we purchased a new 2012 focus and as soon as it got home I polished it to perfection and applied opti coat 2.0 it was easy to apply and has worked well in the 7 months it's been on the car I do apply Americana or other carnauba wax to get more depth out of the paint.
  20. We have a hatch and had a loaner sedan and the seats fold down in the back
  21. The orange peel is from the painting process and as I understand has to be worked out during the painting not after
  22. I read on another forum air craft pant can be buffed like car paint it just takes a lot longer and you can protect it with wax or sealant. You can look up his web site. http://www.bnbdetailing.com
