  1. Tried this the other day. Huge improvement. Would do again. The grey towels I ordered with my interior kit are amazing.
  2. I have a leather briefcase and was wondering if the leather conditioner would be appropriate for it, or if its formulation is such that it would not be a good idea?
  3. Car shampoo with the wash pad and great white drying towel are the gateway drug. Detail spray is the magic finish. Those four things are all you need to be doing better than 90% of people washing their cars in their driveways. Nothing wrong with using other shampoos/washes with the Adam's equipment but whether or not it works as well, it certainly won't smell as good!
  4. Interesting, I will have to give it a shot (this weekend maybe). Going to attack the one that was not changing color with all purpose cleaner once I get my gallon from my spring order.
  5. Just an update: attacked with some more DWC and it turned super purple. Except for some reason one wheel does not change color much at all even though it has stuff caked on. All 3 of the wheels that are that bad responded in some manner to the claying, so it helped but not all removed. My guess is lots of clay and elbow grease to really knock it out.
  6. Yep noticeable color change each time.
  7. About 3-5 minutes a wheel. Once I see oozing purple I started agitating.
  8. Wow I did not notice that the sides of the thing were different and I've owned this thing for like a year now.
  9. I have not tried claying it off yet, but since I have half a clay bar left over I will do that. The wheels clearly react and change color so I presume as I continue to saturate it with the cleaner it'll improve. Maybe I should just buy a few gallons of the DWC and submerge the entire wheel in there for a day or two to kill it all off .
  10. Pics: http://www.dropbox.com/s/i6e1nrfuz3wnkri/2013-03-26%2013.50.13.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/sfwmygi99zaar74/2013-03-26%2013.50.24.jpg I agitated it with my boar's head brush, and when that didn't work went a bit more aggressive with a toothbrush of all things.
  11. I have my deep wheel cleaner and so far it has helped, however I have failed in removing all the caked on junk that is on my daily driver. I bought it used (2002) and it was not super well maintained in its last life. I was wondering if there are additional measures I can take with badly soiled wheels or techniques to go after really caked on stuff? For what it's worth the Deep Wheel Cleaner definitely reacts with the wheel every time and has improved it, but I just can't seem to get all the stuff off. Also on a side note the DWC sprayer seems to spray a stream on both settings. No mist. Is this normal?
  12. The great thing about the SuperVRT is that it lasts. My family has "other solutions" they use on their cars and they look crappy after about a week or two. Two weeks after SuperVRT my tires still have a beautiful matte black finish and bead water. As a bonus I don't have to worry about staining the driveway either. SuperVRT is probably one of my favorite Adam's Products I own.
  13. Unless the company isn't making it up elsewhere the "free shipping" is merely an illusion. If Adam shipped free then he'd probably end up having to discount less or raise the prices of product. By showing us the cost of shipping he's just being a straight shooter.
