  1. Nice ride, I have a 1 series too it's a fun car to detail.
  2. I go with Machine Super Sealant, Brilliant Glaze and then Americana to finish. Quick sealant on the rims and front end as needed.

  4. Thanks! I like the car so far. The handling and brakes are not quite as sharp as my previous car (M3, so probably to be expected) but its seriously quick and easy to drive, very user friendly. More torque than the M3 and in the real world feels just as quick. So far so good

  6. Finally got time to do a full detail on my new car. Here's a write up (what I can remember doing anyway!) and some before and after pics. Non-Adams products blanked out in my descriptions. Wheel wells and tires cleaned up with APC and fender brush. Wheels cleaned up with xxx and various brushes. Exhaust tips cleaned with APC and brushes. Rinsed car down with the pressure washer. Foamed down with foam cannon and Adams car shampoo. Washed car using 2 bucket method. Rinsed car down. Paint decon using xxx. Rinsed car down. Dried using sidekick blaster and great white drying towel. Door jambs wiped down with waterless wash. Clayed. IPA wipedown. Plastics dressed with SVRT Masked the panel gaps off Fine machine polish on the porter cable XP. IPA wipedown. machine super sealant on the porter cable XP. Quick sealant on the rims, mirror housings and front bumper. Brilliant glaze applied. Americana applied. Undercarriage dressed. Glass cleaned in and out. Interior wipe down with interior cleaner. SVRT on the tires. Engine wiped down with waterless wash. Before:
  7. Excellent choice of car, the ST is winning most road tests on both sides of the pond right now. Pleased to see the US getting more hot hatches, they are some of the best daily drivers out there.

  11. Hi Everyone! I've been detailing for about 4 years now, pretty much since I got the M3. Below are a couple of shots after wash/clay/sealant/glaze/Americana. Found some great info on this forum, look forward to picking up more tips and chatting more about detailing and cars!
