  1. Thank you for both for the answers. My normal wash is foam cannon with purple ultra foam shampoo, then two bucket/ 3 wash mitts with blue shampoo, and dry with dryer, detail spray, and ultra plush towel. I have Graphene shampoo that I’m about to switch too but was finishing up what I had left. We were parked under a tree might have been a banana tree or similar. Do I clay the whole hood and then reapply?
  2. I applied Adam’s Advance Graphene Ceramic coating to my wife’s GMC Acadia in early January. At first it looked great then about a month later I started noticing streaking/ hazing on the hood. How do I correct the coating to get rid of the streaks/ hazing? Streaks on the hood. This is right after a wash. Rear deck lid Then this past week we took a vacation to the Florida Keys and came back with these spots on the hood. I was hoping they would come off with a wash but no luck. If I clay them will that take the ceramic off? I have been using Adam’s products since 2008 and this is the first time I have not been extremely happy with the out come of a product. I’m hoping this can be corrected with some more work and that it was my skills not the product.
  3. We have used the Britex B-Safe (http://www.britaxusa.com/car-seats/b-safe) since day one and had a base for it in bothe my wifes Vue and in the GTO then moved it to the truck when we traded. Just last weekend we switched to using two separate car seats, one in each vehicle. I still have the Britex B-Safe in my truck and we put the Britex Boulevard 70-G3 )http://www.britaxusa.com/car-seats/boulevard-70-g3) in my wifes Vue since it gave us a little more leg room there. I have them on the passenger side in both vehicles and have the front passenger seat pushed back to where it is almost touching the car seat to give the most leg room. We have had no issues with leg room in the truck, I'm only 5'10 and my wife is 5'4 so w2e are both on the shorter end of the scale. Yea it was defiantly a bitter sweet move, I was at the point where I was "bored" with the GTO and had the "new" car bug but still hated to see her go. What did you get?
  4. You got me. The only other color I wanted was the brighter blue. I don't car for white or silver since every other car on the road is white or silver and I don't like red. I wanted black but didn't think I was ready to keep a black truck clean and swirl free. That picture of the truck and Camaro on the trailer reminds me of the Tonka trucks you used to play with as kids now its the same thing with bigger toys.
  5. Thanks guys, it was hard to get rid of the GTO but it made it a little bit easier knowing I can drive my Camaro whenever I get the need for for power under my right foot. However I do find myself pulling up to stop lights that merge right after all the time and think to myself that in the GTO i would be in the other lane and beat everyone off the line but wont try it in the truck because of the gas.
  6. Been awhile since i have been on the forum, things have been busy. Back in January we traded the GTO in on a truck, it was going to happen either then or this coming December. We went shopping knowing we didn't have to buy anything but found a great deal witht he end of the year sales going on. This larger vehicle was need since the birth of my daughter in September. We got a Deep Ruby Red Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab LTZ Z71. The GTO was traded in with 42,3xx miles on it. Here us a picture of the GTO last summer. Here are pictures from the first day she was at home, January 2nd, 2013 with 30 miles. I had Friday off of work and the little one was at the sitter so it allowed me to spend some time on the truck. This gave me from 9am until 5pm to work. Here is the reasons I needed the truck Hannah and Gloria Grace Trading the GTO also gave me the motivation to fix my Camaro which had been parked for nearly 3 years. After a new Opti-Spark, she fired right up and was ready to haul home. Sorry for the long post
  7. Looks good. I like the plate too. When I moved to VA a year ago I was lucky and able to get "LS1 GOAT" for my tag. I have wanted that since I got the car but it was always taken in NC.
  8. GREAT looking car, I bet that thing is amazing to drive. Glad to see it out driving and not sitting in a garage collecting dust like so many other rare cars
  9. Glad you are ok, sounds like it could have been a lot worse.

    Olympics

I LOVE:banana: the Olympics but I never watch the opening/ closing shows(ceremonies) I have no interest in the show boating. GO USA:patriot:
  11. Nice upgrade, I love those Vettes.
  12. Brilliant Glaze I love the shine it adds to the Americana.
  13. Its a nice car, we have a couple of them at work, and I took one on a road trip to MD a couple months ago and was really surprise it the car. With that being said I could not trade the Goat in on one tho.
  14. Its relaxing for me and I love driving a clean car.
  15. Waterless soak usually does the trick especially with sealant on the car. Good job.
  16. Nice, I have always used the GTO code but it will be nice to have a AF discount now.
  17. Nice work, I wish I could get my YJ to look like that.
  18. Yea, I was more worried about how much of the process it screwed up. Also I hadn't wiped it off yet, but I went outside before it came down hard and wiped most of it off. It has rained off and on all afternoon now. I will start back in the morning, with a wash 2 passes of SHR, 1 or 2 passes of Fine Machine Polish, then quick sealant, topped with Americana.
  19. Thanks guys, there is debris on the car, its parked under trees. I can be home for 5 mins and walk outside and there is stuff all over the car. I might be done for the day, I really wish I had a garage. I guess I will wash it when I can get back out there, if its today or tomorrow morning.
  20. HELP! I just finished with severe Swirl & Haze Remover, and now its about to come down hard. I do not have a garage, and dont feel comfortable leaving the pop up tent up in this storm. What do I need to do once it finishes raining? Here is a screen shot of what is about to roll through, the cross hair(right next to the 199 sign) is on my house
  21. Great story, with an even better ending. Congrats, and good luck with the washes.
  22. Nice, I asked for some on my order this week and received a couple too. It was great to open the box and see that surprised, it made my day. It's the small things like this that makes Adams a GREAT company.
  23. I keep a old shot glass, on top of my bottle of MF revitalizer in the wash room. For a full load of towels I fill it up, for half a load i fill it half way. It has worked well for me so far.
