Yeah I had thought about telling her to get it on tape if they won't write it but when she tells them I'm going to record this, I would guarantee they won't open their mouth then. I'm going to call her this weekend and see if she may have gotten any kind of "guarantees" with the paperwork along with any signatures.

When we bought my wife's Daytona, the Dodge dealership wanted $1,200 for an interior and exterior package called the Northwest Package. I'm curious to see if she can get that in writing, I did let her know. I told her the only way to get chip "protection" is via a clear bra, no sealant is going to do that.

HAHAHAHA! I can't even begin to say how many times I have heard this one!!! Absolutely hilarious! I still can't believe they told her it would resist rock chips and the likes......that is a new one I haven't heard before.

I've never seen it on the sticker before but I have definitely been asked if I wanted "special" stuff added at an additional cost, I politely declined. I figured this stuff was about the same as the crap I have heard of in the past but I wanted to make sure.

Yeah I agree with both of you and it just confirms my suspicions. I will check it out when I get home and see if she just wants me to work some Adam's magic on it and have her take it back to the dealership and throw the bottles at them. It didn't even occur to me that it might have glazes in it. Makes complete sense, especially judging by the crap I read when I googled it. Thanks guys for the input and hopefully I can get another Adam's fan before too long!

Hey everyone, I wanted ask if anyone has ever heard of Quantum Paint Protection? I'm asking because a friend of mine just bought herself a Camaro and got that package and was told it protects from rock chips and virtually everything. I am pretty sure they just upsold the crap out of her so I told her I will look at it when I go on leave, but I wanted to see if anyone has any info or experience with it so I can look a little more in depth. I'm gonna try to set her up with some real stuff to take care of that nice ride, i.e. Adam's. But if she did pay for it to be applied, I don't necessarily want to strip it right back off and waste her money, as I believe it is a sealant. I will just set her up in the spring if it turns out to be what I think it is. Any help is much appreciated and I will post some pics up if I get to Adam-ize it.

Hey all I just wanted everyone to know that Adam's customer service came through again!!! Ashley was a big help when I found out that my storage area had been broken into and some of my detailing equipment stolen. I needed a proof of purchase of some things that were not appearing on my account and Ashley got my old invoice right to me, so a big thanks!!! Yet again, one of my major reasons to stick behind Adam's for life!

Hey everyone, I had read on the forums somewhere that you shouldn't let the waxes and stuff get below a certain temperature for storage and it just donned on me that during my move across country, my Fine Machine Polish & Wax, and Detail Spray may have been left in below 32 degree temps. My question is: Do I need to just throw that batch of stuff out and order new or would it be ok to use?? Also, does that temperature rule apply to the Detail Spray?? Thanks for any info!!
