  1. I have always used a junk microfiber towel with detail spray.
  2. I understand the weather delays, but this has happened to me six times and it is always the Hutchins Texas area that screws it up. Good weather or bad. Thanks to everybody for their help!!!!
  3. Still waiting on FedEx to find my package it's been 7 days from when it was shipped. They don't have any clue as to when I will get it. Packages would be shipped from Adam's and I would have it in 2 days unless it was the weekend which was fine, but now it seems that every order I place takes a week or weeks to get to me. They have really dropped the quality of there service.
  4. Great so that means my order that I made on the second and then shipped on the third and hasn't made it to me yet will be a bunch of rocks. I have had a lot of recent problems with FedEx delivering my adams products on time. This will be number six on the list of late deliveries for me. I live in Oklahoma and everything was hear in two days, except the last six orders. So now I won't get my order till Tuesday, That's a week from when I ordered it. FedEx is not ranking very high with me any more.
  5. Well round two went a lot better. Speed on 5 and normal pressure, and pad was spinning a little fast. It still did a great job! Now waiting for M.S.S. to set and cure and then some B.G. and then Americana on Friday morning.
  6. After reviewing the videos again. I noticed he said he turns the polisher down to 5. I had it at six and yes there was a good amount of pressure, but I was only pushing hard enough to slow the pads rotation. I'm going to try slower speed and that will also mean less pressure that I will be placing on it. On the other hand that is the fastest I have seen shine start to appear. Yeah I Love my TBSS. And people say they can't make silver shine. They have never tried Adam's!!!!!!!
  7. Polishing with the PC, and when I got finished this is what the new microfiber orange pad and the backing plate looked like. I think I did something wrong. The car looks pretty good for just the first round. Second round in the morning with finishing and the white micro, and then MSS. I'll see if the other pad does the same.
  8. I got a black for Christmas and we got a silver for my father in law. We have both had to send them back for software failure. Which they have sent him a new one and they are doing something with mine but I don't know yet just sent it off. The black with the low light is awesome, and you have 12 mega pixel over 11. More frame rates and higher definition. If you are going to do any slow motion or night time filming go with the black.
  9. I love the blacked out look. Like the range rovers are.
  10. I would say yes, but it will take longer and more to get it off. I would test a spot on the barrel of the wheel first if possible.
  11. They will pop the pics look good but in person they are amazing. Any wheel that is aluminum with clear coat this process will work. Going to do the wife's HHR SS soon too.
  12. Yup just aircraft paint stripped, blast off with water and a little rubbing. Then #1 and #2 polish followed with quick sealant.
  13. Finally got around to stripping the factory clear of the wheels. The clear was horrible!!! , Stripping with aircraft paint remover. , Stripped , Wife getting it done. She was all over this I only did one wheel. , , Shinny , , Finished up with some quick sealant and svrt on the tires. Thinking about leaving the spokes shinny and the rest in between black.
  14. I did the same. I used an old fine wire cat brush. It worked the best for me. It took a while but it looks brand new now.
