  1. Grit Guard. If I didn't have a grit guard I wouldn't wash my car.
  2. This happens to me occasionally, but every single a time a good detail spray wipe down knocks it off.
  3. Alright guys. I just tried everything new. And my windows look invisible, no obvious streaking. Its wonderful, the glass towels work great now that I know how to use them. I believe my biggest problem was the fact that i was using it like windex. I would spray a full spray on a half size window and i would just push it around with the towel. So what I did was half a squirt of GC, then wipe away only once. Then go over it with a dry towel. On the windshield I would use a full squirt for the larger surface area. Thanks. You all are a great help.
  4. I learned this recently on this forum. I had the exact same problem when polishing and I was told to put the pads in individual ziploc bags with a shot or two of detail spray and leave them in the fridge over night. I only did this one night, but it worked out for me. The pads had a bit of dusting but nothing the conditioning brush couldn't handle. What I have seen other member do was leave the pad on a box fan over night to help with the drying process. I havnt done this, but I imagine it would speed up the drying process. Wait till another member chimes in on this though. Somebody else might have better ides.
  5. Wow. Thanks for all the help on this. When I get out of classes im going to reread all these post and try out the new techniques I have learned. Thanks for all the help. Ill update you all when I try this out.
  6. ^ thanks for the tips. Im gonna get out there tomorrow and try out some different processes.
  7. Washer machine with woolite, no fabric softener and hang dry. Washer machine on delicate with warm water
  8. Toothbrush for sure. Gets into all those tight places the interior brushes can't.
  9. Anything you really touch in your car would be pretty gross. Steering wheel, door handle, parking brake, gear shifter, blinker stalks. This just makes me want to clean my car even more.
  10. I do use different directions for interior and exterior. One up and down, one side to side. My exterior glass is freshly clayed. It is definitely on the inside of the windows. I also use fresh towels every time, Green glass cleaning towels.
  11. Yes, the streaks are on the inside. I don`t have tint of my windows except for the OEM tint. Will alcohol not cause a problem? straight alcohol or IPA?
  12. So I have some issues with cleaning the interior glass on my car. I use two towels. One to clean, then the other to buff. I only use a squirt of the glass cleaner one a window. The windows look great out of the sun, but as soon as the sun hits the glass it is very streaky. Ive tried buffing it off the next day, but it doesn't want to budge. Thanks ahead of time. Ive learned so much from this forum, and adams is the bomb. Cant imagine using any other product now. C.J.
  13. Thanks. I just always see pictures of filthy rinse buckets and wonder if something is wrong with my technique.
  14. I would be so livid. I don`t let friends drive my car for this reason. Much less somebody I dont know
