  1. As of right now I just have the PC.
  2. Just curious if there is a huge difference between the old and new pads. I need some extra pads and noticed the older style pads in the clearance section and thought "why not?"
  3. As with most people I've never had an issue with any of Adam's products but unfortunately I did this past week with one of my Wheel Woolies I ordered. The smallest one was almost like it was just "unfinished" with a spot where no "woolies" were at the end of the stick and it had a fairly sharp edge, which had me weary of using on my wheels. I emailed Ashley and provided a simple photo of the condition of it, and thanks to the AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE, Adam's is praised for, it is being taken care of! I cannot be more satisfied and comfortable purchasing my car's needs for shine from Adam's and it's great staff. Thanks again!
  4. The "same" could be done with the blade in my opinion. Just as you flip your towel after say each panel, rinse your blade after each panel, well guess what, you're no longer rubbing that dust over your paint anymore.
  5. I'll take a 7/10 from a water blade I will damn well be the sole user of than a public car wash slapping my paint at will.
  6. I argue that if you care for it as you would your towels you will have no problems. Trash can get stuck in your towels just as easy if not easier and scratch your paint as well. So i find that argument invalid. It will only ever be used on a clean car. It's not like I'll just toss it to the ground when finished. Like I said, treat it as you do your towels and I don't see the problem. Nothing will be picked up from a clean car to scratch the paint. If that was going to happen, it would of by now rubbing multiple towels/pads/applicators over my paint every time I wash it.
  7. I'm curious for what everyone's opinions are on water blades for aiding in drying a car. I'm not opposed to using a blower as I have done before but it is just not convenient for me so that is out of the question. I have the GWT and it's great, no complaints, just for the bulk of the water I'm considering a water blade then do my normal dry and buff with detail spray. Thanks for the input guys.
  8. I work at a body shop so I did it inside our wash bay, 70 degrees inside, no sun, cool clean car. ~8-10" Multiple quick sprays, kinda like spray painting... I didn't feel as if it was too heavy, I actually had to hit some spots again after wiping down bc it was uneven. Yes, immediately. I would spray my belt moulding on my door, wipe off. Quarter glass window trim, wipe off. Wiper Blade, wipe off. 2nd wiper blade, wipe off. etc, etc...one piece at a time. I understand I'm confident I am doing as it's intended. When it's time to reapply I'll video my process as well as take pics of before and after wipe down as well as after DS wipedown. Like I said, after a few passes with DS on the paint it eventually came off, but far from "just wipe away". The glass, I used DS and still there, used glass cleaner and still there, used APC and it appeared to be gone, but this morning on the way to work with the sun shining it's got this look as if someone ate a bucket of fried chicken then played patty-cake with my windshield. Call it OCD but I am very picky about having clean windows and my windows have always looked invisible, so having to do all this extra to get the "smudginess" is really frustrating. Plus sometime when I get a chance I have to reseal and glaze my windows again. I don't mean to be the lone guy that complains but I have never ran into an Adam's product that didn't do what everyone claims and I just feel like something isn't right with this. Does it have to do with the glaze on the windows? I know that's not conventional but maybe the I&O directly onto glaze affects it. Whereas Americana is on top of the glaze on my paint. I have no idea just curious what's going on.
  9. I came here to see if anyone else is disappointed in I&O and I guess I'm not alone. I used this for the first time these weekend and the end result of the window trim and the windshield cowl was alright, but man I hate the overspray caused by this stuff. I have a black car and I wanted to wash the car again after I was done with this stuff. It left my paint looking so streaky and greasy looking. A couple wipes of DS across the paint and some dry towel buffing got it off, but nothing near as easy as what they "say" in the video. The glass...because of how the overspray left my glass making me resort to having to use APC on my windows therfore stripping the sealant/glaze I had done just 5 minutes prior seriously aggrevated me. This stuff will fall to the bottom of my detailing products and collect dust and I will just be taking the extra time to use SVRT instead.
  10. Performance wise I'm definitely not disappointed. I love how it leaves my leather and panels feeling soft and clean and the matte finish it leaves without it being greasy looking or feeling. Of course I'm a little disappointed in the smell but that is probably because I'm so spoiled by all the other Adam's products scents. What does disappoint is the application of the product. I feel like I use too much and cannot cover a comfortable area for the amount I'm using. Again, I could be spoiled from other products and how a little bit goes a long way. I used about 3-4 quarter sized drops on the red applicators and that amount could not cover my lower part of my seat evenly without applying more. It's pretty much like Kevin said that it's almost like it dries up after one swipe. It's hard to show exactly how much product I used as it hasn't settled in the bottle, so I drew lines where the product sits now compared to roughly where it was. That may be normal, like I said, I'm used to very little of Adam's going a long way. just seems at that rate this won't last more than about 5-7 applications. If this is normal then I understand that, like I said just seems like too much and this is without doing the rear of my car as well. I noticed on the back it says "Condition every month" so if really only has to be done once a month it may be alright. My interior stays very clean so frequent applications may not be needed. I assume during the summer months it may dry out a little quicker than the winter months however. Thanks for the quick response!
  11. I just got my L&I Kit last week and used it this weekend on my G35 coupe interior and I kind of second all that Kevin had to say. I was also disappointed in the smell as well, not very leathery at all. I've always taken care of my leather and interior so first off I diluted the cleaner and it worked fine, like I said, my interior is not dirty at all. Even diluted it got some dirt marks off my passenger seat from my dog being in there. My concerns come with the conditioner as well. It is an extremely thick product and using the red applicators with 3 quarter size drops I could not spread it across a single panel. I even went as far as to blotting it like polish with the PC before spreading and IMO do not do that, makes it extremely spotty. But just on my front seats and dash and door panels I used quite a bit of the conditioner. I didn't even feel like doing my rear seats bc I didn't feel like using up extra product for an area that is useless anyways ha. Can LIC be diluted? Because at the rate this product goes I'm not confident I will hold onto this in my Adam's collection. In comparison Zaino's Z-10 Leather In a Bottle has a wonderful leather smell and goes on super smooth and leaves a matte soft finish as well.
  12. I work at a body shop and I cringe every time we wash a car before the owner comes to pick it up. Make sure the body shop you're using doesn't give your TLC'd paint a "courtesy wash" because I'm sure they don't do any different and you will have your paint scrubbed with a nylon bristled brush from a soap bucket that's had who knows how many cars washed from the same soapy water.
  13. ah that's my bad I was comparing to the "Jumbo" version.
  14. What makes the one sold here worth another $100? 3 extra hoses? Just curious because it is the exact same product just branded "Metro" vs "Adam's" Vac N' Blo @ Target
