  1. Ok... We have had a few days of 100+ degree weather, and when that is not occurring, the wind/dust is blowing like no ones business. I haven't washed my car in about three weeks and it is driving me crazy. I am thinking of washing the car by garage light. Do any of you do this?
  2. I had planned on washing every week to two weeks. I have a buttery wax that came in a kit, but don't think i have the applicator. On a side note, do you all clean the americana applicator with APC, or just leave it be? Can i use the americana applicator for buttery wax?
  3. I had put down Machine Super Sealant on the car when i did the correction. This is a daily driver. Would you personally stick with Americana, or do the Americana once a month and Buttery at the two week mark?
  4. I just put my first application of Americana on the car. I gave it a full PC correction two weeks ago, and have been unable to go over the car with Americana as I had planned due to weather. I was wondering how often you all place buttery wax or americana on the car. Do you all do this weekly, or even alternate weekly? Would you suggest the alternating of the products? I really have to learn to not get product in cracks. It was driving me crazy trying to get product out of seems. The car's exterior is smooth as silk. Very nice indeed.
  5. FInally was able to wash my car after a good weak of wind and sand in the air. I actually covered the car in Americana for the first time every. Im a bit sore, and need to learn to not get it into the creases of the car. Overall the car still feels soft and smooth as silk. I may tackle the interior tomorrow, as far as vacuuming the interior. The car is always clean on the inside
  6. Did you do the shifter yourself? I was thinking of putting something similar on my camaro
  7. I use another brand of generic costco MF towels for the dirty work. Other than that, everything is Adam's. I would have to say instead of the black MF towels adam's offers, thats where my remaining yellow costco mf towels step in. No sense in throwing them away.
  8. If this is how you feel Chewy, and I have to say I respect your opinion from many posts that I have read, what type of person utilizes the waterless wash? It almost sounds like the waterless wash is almost a substitute for detail spray for a "show car" so to speak. It does not really sounds like it has its place for a daily driver.
  9. This actually might be a sad bit of news, especially since I like buying in bulk, and bought a gallon of waterless wash. Those of you using waterless wash, is this something you do daily after work so to speak? WOuld you say that your spending about an hour or so with your vehicle a day doing waterless wash, followed by detail spray? I do not want to derail my first post, but do want some multiple discussions.
  10. I live in the desert, a city called El Paso, TX. The winds can pick up something fierce, which in turn blows a great deal of sand across the city. I have read and understand when people say, if it is dirty, a full wash is probably in order when asked if waterless wash is appropriate. The thing that scares me about dirt, is the potential for a microfiber/waffle towel to become a big piece of sandpaper. If your car, and mine is a dark almost black one, were covered in a layer of "dust/dirt" would you attempt a waterless wash, or stick with a full wash? I am not really sure how many towels I would actually need to do a full car. Right now, I have four waterless wash towels, but again do not know if I would need more frequent turns of the towels to prevent scratching. Thank you all, and hope this not only helps me, but someone else as well. Isaac
  11. I have a 2012 Camaro and noticed in the sun today that my radio has swirls all over it. What do you all recommend for interior/exterior polishing, and could you go through the whole process you would use?
  12. I have started to deal with Jason. I couldn't be more happy, and he is quick with PM's. Between Jason, and corporate, I have all my bases covered. Great products and great people.
