Don't know when I'll be going back could be Oct. or even Jan. of next year. Its the first time in 35 years that I'll have the summer off so I'm pretty pumped about that, kicker is they're going to pay me too, they don't want me to go work for anybody else. Fine by me. Just got a new scissor lift and a bunch of Adams stuff before I left to go to work so now I'll have all summer to polish my way to glory. Finn

Going to finally install the short shift kit on my turbo 911, I've had it for about a year but have had no time, I heard about 2 weeks or so ago that they are shutting down the drilling on my job in S. America and I will get 3-6 months off, with pay, you gotta like that, got tons of stuff to do around the house too but the shift kit is first on my list, the warden has a list of stuff for me to do too but my list beats her's

I'm cheering for the 2 Canucks but to see JR Hildbrand redeem himself for last year would be cool too. Tony Kanan is also a personal Favorite. At least this year it won't be a Danica 500. Who's your pick/thoughts? Finn

I just finished reading Dylans sticky on FAQ about Adam's products and I thought I'd post here for opinions. The freezing problem has me a bit concerned as the local dist. close to me stores his products for sale in his garage and I never noticed a heater, I doesn't really get that cold where I live but sometimes does go below freezing for a few days at a time and I'm going to assume that my stuff hasn't suffered from cold weather, I'm going to move all my stuff inside the house to prevent this. BTW, Glenn, my local dist. is very knowledgable and helped me a lot. Now to my real question, after I used each product I replaced the red plastic cap so I'm covered there but was wondering about the product left in the top squirt cap, can this dry out or suffer damage compared to the rest of the product in the bottle? Do you rinse your cap out when your finished with it or squirt out a bit of product before applying fresh stuff to your pad? Am I trying to over think this? Most of my cars see very little use and it may be months between polishes, I just wanted to do the right thing. What does the braintrust think? Finn

Thats what I did and it works great for the sides of the car(s) plus I do a lot off work on the cars so its good for that too, and I wanted one for 15 years so when they went on sale I got one. Finn

I read on a Zaino site that to remove all the wax etc from your car so you can start the polishing and waxing etc process that Dawn dish soap was the product to use, since I've been looking into better techniques and procedures I've been told that you should never use dish soap, even Dawn says not to wash your car with their product on their site. OK, what do you use to remove all products from your cars paint so you can start at the beginning again? Finn

When did they start to put clear coat on factory paint jobs? I went to the dealer and asked about the wifey's 09 Civic and the dealer had no idea if it had clear coat or not. Is there a way to tell by looking at the paint? Is it only high end cars that have the clear coat? I have an 87 Porsche 930, would that have been clear coated at the factory? Thanks Finn

When I was a few years younger than you and was looking for something to do, I asked myself what I wanted and what I would put up with. I was willing to work hard and be away from home a lot and I wanted big money and lots of time off. I found the Diamond Drills (surface exploration mining) it had travel, lots of money, well in Canada it does, and lots of time off, the money isn't really so big when you consider the hours worked but I always made 2-3 even 4 times what some of my buddies made,look at the price of gold now, oil too, you can't find a DD who isn't working or turning work down for the last 10 years, well 35 years later and 21 different countries I can say its been perfect for me, there is also little reflection on seniority, the best keep working when it gets slow, your reputation counts more than your years of service. I don't know much about the oil rigs but from your location it might be something to look at. I knew I was never going to be a suit and tie guy and I wanted to work outside, ask yourself the same questions I did and you can eliminate a lot of jobs that maybe in your area. The trades are a good thing to get into also. Scott
