  1. Nope. Funny though, when I first realized I was really, really digging Adam's products, and detailing in general several years ago, I couldn't understand why I was liking it so much. I thought surely this thing is just some bizarre obsession that will run its course and will soon be a forgotten hobby. But I honestly still get excited about trying new products and new techniques. Even after all these years I still often day dream or go to sleep thinking about them. Unfortunately, like others, I have a busy life with work and family and I don't always have the time I wish I had. What I do have is tons of product and tools, ha, ha, ha. Til this day this stuff still makes me happy. The only way I see that it wouldn't would be if I did too much of it and got sick of it. A full detail is hard work. Or, lets face it, there are more important things than detailing and sometimes external factors can take away from your enjoyment of it.
  2. Nice review Chris. Thanks for taking the time. Just a side note though, you seem to talk about the Rinseless Wash like it offers some kind of paint protection. Do I understand you correctly? or Does it actually? I know the product description says it has polymers in it but I don't know if that is the same thing as protection.
  3. Been interested in CR spotless for awhile . My enthusiasm kinda dulled recently after reading some reviews though. Of the people who didn't like it the main complaint seems to be that the resin is expensive and that you don't get as many washes out of it as one would expect, even when using it only to rinse during your wash cycle. Seems the resin can become contaminated with algae easily also. For those of you that have it, would you agree with these statements? I really wanted to get one of these things.
  4. Eric, what exactly did you mean by "it will change your paint!!"?
  5. Best of luck Dylan. It is clear to any regular Adam's user that you were an integral part of the company, going way beyond the call of duty on many fronts, and being such a small company I'm sure you wore many different hats and had to help put out many fires during your time there. Let alone that small mater of bringing about new product to keep the product line fresh and relevant. You have been an invaluable asset, and quite frankly I don't know how this was allowed to happen. Although I have not met you (in person), many of us feel like we have because of your presence on all the video's and your authority on the forums. But over the years we have learned not only about your wealth of detailing knowledge, but also of your fondness for your German heritage, beer, baseball, family, etc. All those attributes that you demonstrated at Adam's will serve you well where ever you find yourself. Once again, best of luck.
  6. Not exactly sure what they are going to come up with. But there are some fancy sprayers out there that spray when you pull the trigger and also as the trigger is released so that it works double time. There's also pressure sprayers that once they are pumped continuously spray, anywhere from a fine mist to a stream. Might be useful if filled with say, Detail Spray of Waterless Wash. There are probably also quality differences from your regular cheepo sprayers. I'd prefer to get my stuff from Adam's so I'm waiting to see what they come up with.
  7. Thanks for all of the responses. I went ahead and did it anyway only because I was using old clay that was almost ready to be thrown out. I did use gloves and only did a couple of panels at a time to prevent drying. In a previous post Dylan had mentioned that when using DWC as a decon over large areas you can dilute 50/50 to save product (just have to give it a little more dwell time but works just as good as full strength) and that's exactly what I did. If I felt that a panel was drying on me I would spritz it with plain water to reactivate. The DWC is extremely slick. I keep 1 bottle full strength and 1 cut 50%. But, yes you guys are right, not a good idea with good clay. However, it did, as Dylan mentioned above, make my decon process a single step instead of two. At least this time
  8. I know it sounds ridiculous, but if you are using Adam's DWC as a decon (on a white car) is there anything wrong with claying the area while the bleeding is going on? The DWC is plenty slick. I tried it today with an old piece of clay I was getting ready to throw away and it seemed to work pretty well.
  9. Thought I heard there would be premium sprayers introduced at some point. Anybody know anything? Hoping for Kwazar type bottles.
  10. Sounds good. But still, I think Ron's question is more toward PC and Cyclo. In other words, would you stick it out with the PC if you already own it or would you replace it with a Cyclo? Thanks.
  11. Cleaning all the various towels, applicators, and pads by hand after a detail when you are tired and at your weakest. Also cleaning the leather seats on my SUV (3 rows of seats!).
  12. So if the New Clay is considered Fine Grade what is the old clay? Medium Grade? If so, isn't medium grade, by definition, more aggressive in removing contamination than fine grade? Meaning, removing contamination is easier. Just kinda confused because it's been implied that both clays have the same ability and that the main difference is user friendliness.
  13. I have been stuck deciding between the Flex and the Cyclo for days. I've read and reread all the related threads. Like some people, I mostly do my own car and a couple for family members whose cars are in average condition. This would seem to favor the Cyclo. However, I know sooner or later I'm bound to come across a car that needs more serious correcting, swinging the pendulum back toward the Flex. I don't want to risk being underpowered. Even if not doing serious correcting or large volume the time savings is a nice plus. But then there is the ability to get into tight spots and comfort of the Cyclo... ugh. I guess the only solution to this torment is to get both. That would be nice, but tough since I already sprung for a PC kit awhile back. For the time being looks like I'll probably miss this recent sale giving me more time to think.
  14. Would the buyer be able to have the Lifetime Warranty?
