  1. Need to detail a new addition, a 2011 Camero convertible, black. It has the stripes on the hood and I know for polishing I should mask the edges but question, do I just go over them with glaze, wax ,sealant?
  2. Just bought a black 2011 Camero vert. The previous owner has gotten some wax on the rear defuser and on the front lower grill. How can I get this off. They are both the textured grey plastic material and I cant find anything that will work to remove it. Thanks!!
  3. Got my 87 Buick Grand National painted this summer, picked up July 3rd. Will soon have heat installed in garage and will start first real detail. What process would you guys recommend for this from start to finish. Thanks!!
  4. Well, we will see what happens, I never even thought detail spray had any sealers in it and I always mist the car after I wash it to eliminate and water spots when drying. Hope someone from Adams can chime in with some info!
  5. UPDATE, well this is extremely labor intensive, clay bar, then swirl and haze, then revive polish, by hand, it gets most of it but in the corners and smaller areas its tough. I got the majority of it for now, maybe this winter I can get the remainder with rim up on bench and lots of time on each. Have about an hour in each rim at this point. Clay aint doing much, the swirl and haze is doing most of the work, revive just shines up
  6. Got a car painted and a light dusting of primer overspray got on the rims. Rims are painted black with chrome outer rim, I assume all rim is clearcoated. How can I get this off without damaging the clearcoat on the rim. So far I've tried gas and then laquer thinner but no success. Thanks!!
  7. Got a car painted and it has a hood liner. Its that black foam/cloth ish type material with a logo on it. What will clean this and is there anything that can be sprayed on it to bring back a nicer black color?? But not attract dust
  8. Does this product have any sealant in it? Just got a car painted and for shows I wanted to put a coat of this on. But for 60 days I cant put any wax or sealant on the new paint
  9. How long should I wait to wax a new paint job???
  10. I have an 87 Buick Grand National that is getting a new paint job. My problem is this, stripping the paint was done with soda blasting, the engine compartment was spotless, now every nook and cranny is covered in baking soda dust. I want to avoid spraying down with water because 25 year old wiring dosent like that much. Any helpfull ideas?? Compressed air didnt do much as the dust sticks to everything.
  11. I've been using the "pasta" method also......which is correct???
  12. I picked up an 87 Grand National, love it but its got issues. Its black lacquer and its cracked ( I cant fix that) but its also got what looks like water spots etched into the surface. I tried swirl and haze with a green pad but it didnt touch them. Any suggestions, or is this not repairable with a PC.
  13. There are several things that can be spread on the drive that will eliminate the dust. Call your county highway department and they can advise. You will spend less than your Adams order and the dust will be eliminated for the year or until you grade the gravel again.
