I'll be working with a pc. Scared to use a rotary since I don't want to run the risk of burning through clear coat

Just want to know if it's hard or soft clear coat? Helping my buddy polish his xf and just want to know how hard it is or not lol

I haven't been on here in a long time! Today I just checked up on my G8. First yr storing her for the winter and I forgot my tools to unhook the battery again other then that cleaned up my winter car (99 grand am) and just about to take the dog for a walk

I have cards I give out to! And my car will be getting polished this weekend. Everyone wants interiors done, yes I do them but I freaking hate it lol I work full time as head detailer at GM I do enough interior cleans already

I have a ad in a couple places and have had no response. I am offering clay bar, wax, sealant, glass sealant and chrome and rim polishing. Not any interest. So how does everyone do it? Word of mouth? I like doing exteriors 100x more then interior and it's a lot less product that gets used and it is way more rewarding for me. I want to offer polishing but I've only done a few cars and I am scared if someone's car has low clear that I'll ruin the paint and not be able to fix it. Would you have a waiver for something like that? I am using a PC for polisher so I don't have to worry about a whole lot right? Any advice would be appreciated

Ya! My car also wouldn't start. I plugged it in again but in the house to make sure it was working, and had to put a charger on my battery. Started finally after 4 hrs of screwing around. So I went and bought a new 100ft cord. Now waiting for diesels canine therapist to come over so he can get massage and new exercises hopefully

Froze at work! Right now it's -37 windchill of -45, I just finished digging my car out and making a path to the back gate to get to it after our big snow storm hit us earlier this week. Turns out my brand new extension cord also doesn't work it seems every other week we get hit with lots of snow and it's no fun.

We are under a winter storm warning. Yet again we got 21cm a couple weeks ago and are due for another 20cm or so today if it keeps up with this kind of weather I can honestly say I will prob need to trade my G8 in for a truck ( i would be leaning towards 2014 Sierra or silverado) my car is fine during the winter just not when we get those amounts of snow lol. Wish me luck! I have to go to work today

A 2013 GMC 2500; from one of the managers at the oil field company my husband works for. Interior clean up and exterior wash and wax. He was so happy with it he called me when he got to the shop to pick it up this evening. I guess a bunch of other guys were scoping the truck out while it was in the shop, so I now have 3 other people interested in getting there vehicles detailed sorry didnt take any pics today but i must say it looked awesome!

Cleaned the interior of the G8 a few days ago it was the dirtiest it has ever been before; washing it tonight after it cools down some. Diesel had his first prolotherapy treatment last night and was in quite a bit of pain but he feels all better today! So were going go head off to get himsome bones to keep him entertained for a bit

Cleaned up the G8, Monte Carlo SS. Will tackle the interior of my car Tom. Have a canine therapist coming to see diesel and give me a second opinion on treatment. He has a partially torn ACL. No activity for 6 weeks in a heeler is going to be hard!! Plus have to carry him up and down stairs and pick him up to get in a vehicle (55lbs or 26 kg I think it was)

All moved into the new house, just a little unpacking left to do. Have the morning off tomorrow to take diesel to a muscle specialist to get his leg looked at. We have no idea what he did but he yelps when he jumps. It has been like this for 2 weeks. I'm hoping its nothing to serious but I'm very nervous about tommorrow since we do play sports with him.

Will clay strip the wax? Wax is really old prob 4 months since last applied

What do I do to strip wax if I can't wash with apc or dawn since I have to use car wash. I'm planning on polishing the car with new 2 step this weekend

I get the same thing people give me a wierd look when I say my price. And I tell them I have to pay for the great products I use and pay for my time spent. My work ( GM) is stealing customers from other places cuz of our " introductory pricing" since the detailing department is still new. $85 for interior shampoo and clean. We even blow out all the dirt from in little crevices so there's no dirt left.. This needs to be a $250 detail. Soon enough our prices will jump! We just wanted to get people hooked. If they can't see past the price to get great results. They need to go and get the bad results from another place first

YES! I am fine, the red deer river is really high since the dam had to be relieved so the dog park is probably partially under water and we can't go there. The poor town of high river is 80% destroyed, Calgary is also going to take awhile to fix, and no road trips to the mountains for awhile either my husband had to go to Calgary last night in the 45 ton picker to drop generators off in down town Calgary ( closed) and needed to be escorted in

Washed the car yesterday was surrounded by hells angels while putting gas in the car ( I think al the color on my face was gone when I looked over and seen the patch) still had $40 worth of gas to pump lol!! Worked on ordering a couple custome leashes for my dog! Going for John Deere colors. Cleaning interior on the car today and going for big wall later

Thanks guys! There was no smell, surprisingly it's never smelt bad lol; last time it was used it was used for abimals was 1 yr ago; it was a shield from a yak mother with someone in the back seat, they drove up beside the baby and put it in the car because the mother wasn't accepting it

Finished cleaning my moms car ( I did a post on it) also found out the other day that ill be moved up to a supervisor position (detailer) at work which means ill also be getting another raise! I absolutely love where I work and couldn't be any happier with my decision to leave my old place of employment in November. Also today a helped de worm 5 horses, put bug spray and sun screen on my horse, trimmed his hooves. Then we pounded in some new posts and strung up some wire; were taking down a fence to even the pastures out

Ya! And my mom was so happy I didn't allow her to see it till it was done. Next yr I might buy a little carpet shampooer. I didn't spend to much time on trying to clean the carpet since it is a farm car lol

So I cleaned my moms regal for her, it was her mothers day present because she kept begging me to clean her car for her. This took 5hrs to do the interior. Products used were; Carpet and upholstry cleaner, Leather and interior cleaner, glass cleaner, and the total interior detailer.I also used a air hose to blow out under the seats and in all the cracks in the dash and doors that i couldnt get the gunk out. This car has seen lots of misuse, its a farm car and has had calves, baby yaks, goats, a 200lb saint bernard in it at some point in time, mom works 6 days a week and just wants rest on her day off.
