  1. Just ordered my "kit". Perfect timing because I need to polish my truck pretty soon. Thanks!
  2. Update....Looks like the shutters are finally starting to need to be freshened up. It made it about a year, not bad! Ill be tackling this little project soon.
  3. I have heard of people doing that but I remember reading on here that under no circumstance should you ever do that. Maybe an Adams Team member can confirm that.
  4. That happened to a friends malibu driverside rear door window. It was covered under warranty because that specific dealer stated they had a few other vehicles come in with the same issue. You might want to try a different dealer, but you probably dont want to wait.
  5. Looks great! I need to try that on my explorers b pillars.
  6. Looks great! I did the same thing with the GM "chicklet" on my toolbox.
  7. Claying is a pain especially if you have a large vehicle. I do my truck about twice a year but am finding I should probably do it 3 times a year.
  8. If I'm not mistaken...the blue hex is abrasive and you wouldn't want to use that to apply wax or sealant.
  9. Nice job! That color rocks! Those bikes are amazing, I love the 103! We just took a trip on a few rented streetglides, same color. All I could think of was getting my adams supplies on it!
  10. This was the same experience I had with the clay bar... I started a thread about it and tried some of the tips suggested without much luck. I just thought it was normal for this clay.
  11. As these guys have stated, they might contain more fillers than other waxes in order to hide the swirls and imperfections better but that's all its doing is hiding them for a limited time. Brilliant glaze with help with that too. I would highly suggest reading the pinned topic in the waxing section titled " what wax is best for black paint?" there is a lot of good info in there.
  12. A good way to test if you need to clay is with a plastic bag like a sandwich bag. Put your hand inside and on a clean paint surface of your car lightly rub your fingers on it. You will feel all the contamination on the paint which the clay bar removes. Take your time, use plenty of clay lube and work in a # pattern to make sure you cover the whole surface. You don't want to miss a spot and have to do it again!
  13. You are really going to love that combo which is known as the "face melter". Be sure to post up pics afterwards. Are you familiar with the bag test for clay?
