  1. That is a neat trick, I've never heard of that before.....I will try it ! Thanks
  2. Thanks for the post, I need to get me some ordered !
  3. Oh yeah I remember those.....still love them....lol The APC does pretty good, but the Bleche White really gets them the whitest....I have stopped putting any tire dressing on them at all since that was making the letters more discolored over time too...now I just clean them and leave them a nice clean black color.
  4. That's what I was wondering too...I don't wash my Trans Am but maybe twice a year (700 miles a year - pretty day only car) and the white letters need to be cleaned with Bleche White to keep them white and looking good.....I hope this will clean them and keep the letters white
  5. LOL.....Yeah I am in the minority now days for sure
  6. Anyone try this on white letter tires yet ?
  7. Are they sold out now in some sizes ? I got one of each color and they are terrific....went back to get another one for my Dad for Father's Day and it acts like they are sold out in Medium and Large of both colors.
  8. I've been using the sealant and some stuff called "Wheel Wax" and I've had real good results from them both
  9. I think you're probably right it takes a little bit longer but that's what I've been doing and will probably continue to do....just wish the wheels would stay as spotless as long as the wheels on my truck, but that's the price I pay for the Brembo brakes and they do stop really good ! Luckily the wheels haven't been truly dirty yet
  10. Thanks ! You're right it's been a while since I've had polished wheels (mid 90's)....I'm spoiled to chrome...lol.......Thankfully I've only driven these in the rain once in the 4 months I've had them so it's been easy to keep them like new I will definitely use the Adams Metal polish when I need it no doubt. I can second that Amerciana love too....that stuff the best !
  11. Thanks, I sure do love them....took me several months to pick some new wheels (usually takes me about 2 weeks...lol). The factory ones look good, but I wanted more SHINE
  12. Thanks everybody for all the help ! I had been pulling it out of the garage and washing them with the Adam's car wash shampoo and just a trickle of water so I didn't get the car wet. It will be much easier to do it in the garage with the waterless wash especially in the winter time ! Love these Cragars wheels. Have Adam's to thank for them too....they posted the them in all their pictures from SEMA 2012 or I might not have ever seen them !
  13. Thanks !....You read so much about different things staining aluminum wheels I just wanted to be extra careful. I sure have tried that....Works great, I use it just about every 2 months or so
  14. Need something to just clean the brake dust off these wheels every couple of weeks and thought Detail Spray or Waterless Wash might be perfect ? With them being Polished with no clearcoat I wasn't sure what was the safest thing to use ? They aren't dirty at all....just brake dust. I've got the new (and old) Detail Spray too...if that helps Thanks for the help !
  15. Hey Chris & Dylan just had to say a big THANK YOU for posting all these pictures ! I had been trying to see a good picture of these new Cragar wheels (617 series) for a few days....I should have known you'd have taken some great shots ! Thanks again !
  16. I'll give it a shot and tell you how it turns out I haven't gotten it dirty or had to wash it since I waxed it so I imagine the Buttery is still pretty good...but maybe I'll get some good results anyway
  17. I see where Glaze has some cleaning properties....wasn't sure if you went over the Buttery Wax with Glaze....then added the Buttery Wax back on the Glaze will you get that filling of minor imperfections or not ? The reason I ask if I've just waxed it about 1 month ago and I want to try the glaze now. Thanks !
  18. Thanks for letting me know, that sounds great to me !
  19. One thing I was curious about....... How long can I expect the sealant to last with it over the wax......versus.....this fall when I put the sealant on....then the wax ? The car is always garage kept and gets washed about once a month or so and doesn't get driven in the rain but a few times a year.....I wax with the Buttery Wax twice a year.....the next time I wax this fall I will put the sealant on first....then the buttery wax. Thanks !
  20. Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone on their help with the Quick Sealant. I used it Sunday for the first time it's every bit as good as advertised ! I have always been so impressed with how slick a car is after you wax it with the Buttery Wax....but after this Quick Sealant it's MUCH more slick....there is no way bugs could stick to it now.....Heck I wouldn't be surprised that dust wouldn't stick to it either ! I'll be using this all the time now ! (probably on the whole car). I was surprised at how easy it was to apply and how great it turned out....nothing to be scared of at all !
  21. Okay cool.....Thanks I was just making sure you would get a good smooth coating that way Anytime I use anything new I'm a little leery at first
  22. Being the first time I ever use it I was not wanting to get it all over the grill and headlights and everything.....Just kinda testing it out on the bumper. I wasn't sure if it would spread smoothly without spraying it on....All that over spray in the video makes me nervous about spraying it...lol...(especially if I'm only doing it on the bumper).
  23. I have been using Adam's products for a few years now and love everything I have tried ! (Detail Spray, Buttery Wax, VRT, Leather Conditioner, Revive Polish and all the TOWELS are WONDERFUL !) I have a new Camaro and just put some Buttery Wax on it a few weeks ago and now I read about this Quick Sealant, I got some in the mail a few days ago and I want to try it specifically on the front end to keep bugs from sticking. Since I have already waxed it I know I won't get the perfect adhesion....but I was wondering if it would be OK to apply it with the applicator instead of spraying it on ?.......Since I'm just doing a small area (the front bumper is small)....I'd rather use the applicator as opposed to spraying it if that would be ok ? Thanks for the help and the GREAT products !
