  1. Thanks guys! I think I’m gonna check out the gaurd n gloss. I completely agree with you on the cost and time of ceramic would be insane. Thanks guys
  2. I recently bought a 15 year old rv some of the fiberglass has become kind of chalky and dull. I’m looking to bring it back to life and looking great. What do you suggest I use. Has to be something easy to use and affordable as the rv is pretty big, 35’ and 12’ tall from what I’ve done so far it seems to be just soaking up anything I put on it.
  3. Thank you for the explanation. That alone has locked me in for a while. I was just about to stray n see what else was out there. This post was perfect timing
  4. Did a full detail on a 68 Chevelle ss yesterday. The car was in pretty good shape when I got it, didn't have many swirls in it but the pain just didn't pop. We'll problem solved. My procedure was Strip wash Clay Paint finishing polish with the flex and microfiber pad Brilliant glaze 2 coats of Americana Svrt on tires And s100 on all the chrome trim
  5. So I picked up a used '13 VW Golf R a month or so ago. I just finally got the time and weather to line up and give her a detail. It really cleaned up great!! Had a pretty good scuff on the rear wheel well that almost completely came out. Of course I didn't take any before and after pics. Other than that it was in pretty good shape. A couple questions for you guys. I have noticed the brake dust on this car is TERRIBLE. Any tips on battling that? I normally keep a good layer of QS on them, any thing else I can do? Also it is normal for these cars to get a lot of buildup on the exhaust pipes. It cleans up well with deep wheel cleaner but still feel like I could be preventing it better. I tinted the windows almost as soon as I got it and last weekend I went and got it tuned so I should be at 310hp in a ~3200 lb car. It's a blast. The most fun car I have ever owned. On with the terrible cell phone pics, sorry I am NOT a photographer.
  6. Just ordered some to see how they work. I hope they will perfect for detail sprat, waterless/rinseless wash, and wheel cleaners.
  7. If you are putting on 30k a year I would defiantly look into diesel. My local vw dealer has a used Toureg tdi for 42g Remember with the Toureg that they are built on the same line in the same factory as the Porsche Cayenne. I think it's really a hell of a bargain for what it is.
  8. Do it. U won't regret it. I was nervous too but now I love it
  9. It's a mess. There is still about 120,000 out in NJ. We were told that we might be home for thanksgiving...
  10. We just got word that we will be heading for oceanport NJ ASAP. I'm a power lineman from Toledo, OH and we just spent a week in Cleveland restoring customers
  11. I have a set of dr dre tour in ear headphones and they are great! the noise cancellation almost works too well, you cant here ANYTHING but your music. I wont wear them when i ride my bike because I seriously can't hear anything. As someone else has said I have also had issues with getting them to fit comfortably. I have owned them for over a year and still an not sure what rubber piece I like. Also being an iphone5 owner I am very impressed with the Ear pods. I dont know if they will stay in your ear for working out though.
  12. I'd use clay If its anything like my wife's Candy White Passat it has rail dust all over it, possibly what is in that last pic, so you will benefit from it anyhow
