  1. Lingenfelter is the first car collection I have ever been to and first Adams detail Clinic I have been too. So after spending at least an hour of drooling over all of these cars, I got the chance to watch Adam do some demos on this GT-R that was beat up pretty good, ( Was Ken Lingenfelters winter beater ) So I ended up leaving with my girlfriend and going to go get some lunch, came back and the place was basically empty most of the people had left, go inside and get a chance to talk to Adam which was awesome, asked some questions and got a picture with me and my girlfriend and him. That was great enough for me and I was stoked and thought it couldnt get better. Then, he bought me a hotdog at the hotdog stand. Best CEO ever.
  2. Thanks for the info man, I'll be sure to try em out!
  3. Well its about that time for storage of the "baby" up here in MI. I got my cover comming toward the end of the month. I have read that the car has to be clean before storing it. My car is spotless minus by the back tires...I am a little heavy footed and I have a bit of left over rubber on the bottom quarter panels and im not sure on how to remove most of it. I have tried to use waterless wash with some utility micro's and well it didn't help all that much. I rather not use my mitt because of well, I I know all that rubber will just get stuck and it will be impossible to remove. So ideas? Thanks!
  4. I was thinking of doing that wasnt to sure. Thanks for all the replies guys!
  5. Drove my car to work today, which is not normal but I had to work 1st shift today so I had to park in a different area. Bear in mind, that it has been 100 degrees all week. So I come out today and soon as I looked at my car, I noticed the shine was a bit dull. Walked up and realized that the sprinkler had demolished my car. Guy at my work who keeps his Jimmy very very clean told me that the water at my shop has a lot of lime in it. I believe him now! The hard water spots on my car are bad enough I could feel them with my nail, the hood was hit hardest. Since it is unbearable to be outside right now, I just ran over to the car wash and gave it a quick rinse to try ot knock some of it off and then sprayed down some detail spray to help it out. It helped a little bit but not much. So my question is, what do I do to get it back to super smooth, do I have to re clay it or just a good wash with the wash pad do the trick? Thanks!
  6. Dad had the miracle cure laying around, Goo-Gone. It was there and then it was gone
  7. Well, once I got onto the FMP I couldn't stop, the shine was to much But now i have a problem.. I taped off the car, and now I have sticky marks all over where I had it at... only thing I can do to try and remove it is Waterless wash and that is barely working. Any other ideas to get it off?
  8. At this exact moment, im about halfway with my first PC run with on my car, have quick question. Is there any harm in waiting a day to finish the car? I was thinking of doing the polish then waiting until tommorow to finish it. It is garage kept, just wondering about it. Thanks!
  9. Just ordered my PC along with some stuff that I dont currently have. So hopefully next week sometime I'll be doing this
  10. Alright thanks for the help everyone. I think I'll go with the PC for now and if i catch that bug maybe a flex later
  11. No, I was thinking about getting some in my next order to help with the rims and maybe shine up that intake.
  12. Thanks guys! I already was ragged on this by mayben earlier -___- lol so I took some more to please.
