  1. How did things come out with this? I had some salt build-up in my old GP driver's side floor-board(around my all-weather rubber mats) and if I remember correctly I used some white vinegar and it came out pretty easy. BTW I am not a fan of those factory floormats in the g8, seems like they should be built a little better.
  2. Ha well I take comfort in the fact it happens to other owners too, for what that's worth!
  3. Thanks guys. Jblack thanks lol, Clark has been my online persona for longer than ten years now, still makes me chuckle. Boz what part of Milwaukee are you in? Mayben I'm not sure, I was at the dealer one day and saw how perdy this grand prix was looking and had to have it. Dealer quickly corrected me though, it's not a grand prix at all... I guess it's a G6?
  4. Hey all, figured I should check in now that I'm spending much more time here reading up and learning. Recently I won the Adam's Complete PC 7424 XP kit through a raffle and I could not be happier. I like my cars to look nice and cared for whenever possible, I think it says a lot about a person when their car is always clean and sharp. Anyway I've always done my cleaning/etc, by hand only, was too worried about trying a machine and doing some damage. I know, I know, I was worried for no reason and have a newfound love for detailing . The paint on my white hot 09 g8 gt is in decent condition, some minor chips on the hood and front bumper and the usual swirls in clear-coat around the car(i'm 2nd owner). So far I have been able to greatly improve the hood and rear deck-lid with the time I've had, and slowly working my way around the car. I'm really looking forward to being a part of the forum and learning even more from you experts out there. Now for some pictures, as required. And a couple of my hood...one before my first pass with Swirl Haze Remover, Polish, & Machine Sealant, and one after. Should be even more improvement after I get my technique down.
