  1. I'm planning on a complete larger brake system this winter. It will include red calipers. I thought about painting these until then, but.... I'm too lazy
  2. SWEEEEET:rockon: Beautiful interior. Did it come stock with the SC, or was that added?
  3. No spoiler for me. The SGT comes specifically spoiler delete. Reminiscent of the original GT 350. I think it looks tougher with out the spoiler.
  4. Here is a couple of pics of my 2007 Shelby GT. These were taken at Shelbyfest in Hermann, Mo, April 26, 2009. Just added the new wheels the day before the show. Got lots of compliments on the shine and recommended Adams products to all of them.
  5. Don't see any pics at all.

    What the???

Maybe that was his plan all along
  7. I have Adams fire hose nozzle. Adjusted to a wide spray pattern. (less pressure). A regular garden hose nozzle will work fine though. That's all I used until recently. Just spray it down as you do when washing the body. Just don't point the spray directly at anything electrical. If you have any Adams All Purpose Cleaner, it works wonders on a dirty engine compartment. Just spray it on, let it set a few minutes, and rinse it off. If you have a leaf blower or air hose, use it to dry the engine bay so you won't get any water spots. One other note. I have always been told that it's not a good idea to spray really cold water on hot metal. I always wash the engine bay when the engine is cold. I start it just before washing.
  8. Well, I don't know what year your Mustang is, but I have an '07. I routinely spray down the entire engine compartment. About every 3rd wash. The electronics on most newer cars arew very well sealed. I always start the engine before I spray it down, use a light water pressure around any electrical connections. And I try not to spray directly into any obvious electrical components or the cold air intake. Lastly, follow up with a generous coating of In & Out spray (if you can find any) I have never had any problems doing it this way.
  9. Well, I'll be honest here. That used to be ME. Before I learned about Adams and this awsome forum here. Thanks to everyone here, I have been "educated" in the proper cleaning and detailing procedures:burnout: Maybe someone should send this guy a link to the site here.
  10. I can receive emails, but I can't send. I checked the server addresses and they are correct. Anybody have any ideas what might be the problem? TIA<!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_644519-->
  11. Both of my sons are serving in the Navy. The oldest is on the USS Lincoln, out of Everett, Wa. He just returned recently from a 7 month deployment to the Persian Gulf. The youngest is stationed at the Nuclear School in Charleston, SC. He will be heading to the USS Washington, based in Yokosuka, Japan in July, for 4 years.
  12. Yeah, let's hear it for the P.I. Subic Bay, Cubi pt., the Barrio!!!! Man, some I remember some unbelievable good times there. And probably a whole lot more I don't even remember!!
  13. I had (have) a pretty deep scrarch in the hood of my Shelby. I hit it 3 times with the SHR, and got it as good as it gonna get. Then I polished it and waxed it. I can still see it in the right light, but it's almost gone. After a coat of BSG, no one else can see it. I know it's still there. But it's not noticable any more.
  14. No sweat. I just wish I could keep my garage that clean!!!
  15. I do believe this is the first time I have ever seen potted plants IN the garage!! Very nice garage by the way:2thumbs:
  16. That's pretty much exactly my plan. The car sits in the garage all winter. I plan to fully detail it every fall before I park it. I keep it covered in the garage, so I just need a light detail and wax in the spring and I'm ready to go. Then I'll maintin throughout the summer with the BW.
  17. After completely detailing my car with the PC and the machine products, I routinely wax it with the buttery wax. I like the shine I get as well as enjoy waxing by hand. After waxing, I apply a coat of BSG. My question is should the wax be applied before BSG or after? I read on the forum here somewhere that others were using the glaze first, followed by the wax. I love the results:2thumbs: Just wodering if I'm doing it right
  18. I'd get one for sure. As soon as they are available.
  19. I guess I need to increase the pressure and increase the OPM's. I have been setting the PC on about 4000 opm for the SHR.

  22. I just ordered 10. That means only a couple left. I should have enough to last a couple show seasons now:burnout:
  23. I was staioned on the Uss Midway, USS Independance and USS Kitty Hawk, all out of Yokosuka. Iwas also staioned at Naf Atsugi and NAF Misawa. We stopped at Sasebo a few times for supplies and ordnance.
  24. Got a few sailors here I see. Add me to the list: US NAVY 1982-2002 AM1/E6 (retired) Spent most of my 20 years stationed in Japan (17 years).
