  1. That is unbelievable. Amazing job for your daughter. This story just reminded me to check my 9mm on the side of my bed just to make sure it's ready. You taught her well. Just amazing.
  2. Who says I've washed it a couple of times since I put it on?
  3. Since the daily special is for Brilliant Glaze, I figured it was an appropriate time to post some pictures I just did. I've never seen my Jeep shine so much in my life. The first two pictures were taken this past Friday. The Brilliant Glaze was put on over two months ago and it STILL shines like this. AMAZING! Thanks Adam's!
  4. I bought the PC, then after doing my Jeep I wish I would have bought the Flex. Make the right choice the first time!
  5. Thank you!! Haha, nice. Good to know I'm not the only one!
  6. Thanks guys! Yes, I drove about .5 mph getting our of there. Took me 15 minutes just to get to concrete, haha. And yes, these Jeeps eat clay bars like nothing. The back is REALLY bad.
  7. Thanks Josh! That was such a roller coaster with my Red one. I actually loved my Jet Black the most, but I can't complain about the Brilliant Black. And you know, I don't get bothered about any of it. I always think I will because I work in a really bad city, and they look for ANYTHING to pull people over, but I guess when they see a little blonde chick driving, they don't care, lol.
  8. Thanks for all the compliments everyone! You know, it's funny you ask that, I always think the same thing every time I take pictures of it, but I don't. Or I'm completely crazy and I do and don't notice. I bought it like this with the tint already installed. And I used to have the Jet Black on my first Jeep, and ya, that was a hard one to keep clean. I love Brilliant Black. It's amazing.
  9. Ok, so I finally had a full free weekend to do my paint correction. This was hard and it wore me the heck out. I see why people upgrade to the Flex. The paint isn't perfect, but I got it about 80% there. I am also officially obsessed with the Brilliant Glaze smell. And yes, the Brilliant Glaze and Americana combo makes the paint look unbelievable. I did: Clay Bar Severe Swirl Remover (3 Passes) Swirl & Haze Remover (2 Passes) Fine Machine Polish Brilliant Glaze Americana Wax I also just got the quick disconnects from Adam's for my hose, and holy crap, these made everything so easy when washing! And In & Out is great too! These pictures were just real quick with my iPhone as I was so exhausted after I did this whole process I could barely move. Will take some more soon. YUCK.... What I started with.... In & Out Comparison....Love it! The result. And yes I hid my face for a reason, I was in my detailing clothes and hat!
  10. I used the Carpet & Upholstery cleaner with a MF towel and it works wonders. Took every single spot out I had on my headliner.
  11. So sorry for your loss Nick. My dogs are my kids, so I know how hard it is. Breaks my heart.
  12. If you want a fast SUV, you buy a Jeep SRT8
  13. That's the glove I own and I'm also a lefty....weird. Looks great though!
  14. So I'm guessing you guys like red cars, huh?? Awesome job on the DD!
  15. No, you can't do that without the whole wheel peeling. When you chrome something, it has almost a seal on the exterior, and once that is broke, it will continue to peel. Chrome would never last through a powder coating process. My advice? Have them strip the whole wheel have the entire wheel powder coated. Easiest and cheapest way to go.
  16. Exactly what Dylan said. Anytime chrome lifts from an area, it's a result of a bad chroming job or most likely not the correct prep. I know I am just reiterating what Dylan said, but if it makes you feel any better, I own an exhaust company and all I deal with is Chroming. This happens a lot and it's just poor quality. Nothing you can do but restrip and rechrome. And $2600 for a chrome job on wheels is ABSURD. Go somewhere else. Seriously.
  17. Where did you trade it into? I'm sure guys on the red site would jump on it. Your Jeep was the first Red Rock I fell in love with. I'm sad you got rid of it. I understand the whole getting a "newer" car, but you just can't beat the raw power of our Jeeps. It's addicting. If you would have traded it in for a CTS-V, I would have been a bit more understanding....
  18. You traded the Jeep for a Taurus.....I don't even know what to say to you.....
  19. A Nespresso machine and the PC Kit! I already know I'm getting both and I'm super excited.
  20. Ok, I have to ask, why no ATS? When that car came out I was loving it. Seems awesome. And I never pictured you as a Ford man Nice car though, only Ford I would actually buy!
  21. There are programs out there you can download that will actually pull all of the songs off of that ipod to your computer, so kind of a reversal solution. I don't remember the program I used, but I'm sure you can just search for one on google. It treats the ipod like a hard drive and just transfers everything to your computer into a folder. Easy. Hope this helps!
  22. I don't understand how people drive cars that are that dirty. It actually makes me cringe. And the badge?! Holy crap, whoever washed it really did not care AT ALL. Nice save Chase! Now come over and do my Jeep!
  23. I'm sitting here drooling. Thanks for all the pictures Dylan. Makes me feel like I'm there. Hopefully one day I can be!
  24. I was actually car jacked at the same exact gas station these scuzzy people sell at about 7 years ago. So I TRY and be mean so no one will come near me. Always watch your back at a gas station. I learned that hard lesson.
  25. Ya, almost every time I stop at a gas station, they flock to me because they think I'm some dumb blonde who is going to buy their crap. Every time they approach I say, "Do NOT touch my car." One guy even walked away once and called me a b**ch. LOL.
