Everything works aside from the high beam switch, and the car has a recent Texas state inspection so this can be used as a daily driver as well. Runs great, stops great, sounds great, looks great. 2. I did! Got home this morning about 2am. Awesome bag, man. I love it. Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
  3. Very grateful! Can't tell you how much I appreciate it, Ryan. Thanks again.
  4. I've got a almost brand new stock set of Explorer wheels and Michelin tires for sale. Wheels are flawless, and the tires (245/60R18) have about 800 miles on them. Asking $500, w/ local pick up. That is about the price of a new set of the tires by them selves. Sorry, these are far too heavy to ship, unless somebody wants to pay the outrageous shipping cost for them.
  5. Hey that's my name! Beautiful car man. Had a blast working on it.

  8. Adam's Boulder Blonde Boar's Hair Wheel brush free to a good home. Been used a few times at best. First PM takes it.
  9. Same out here. The Temecula Valley is a huge car enthusiast area and there isn't a single Adam's dealer anywhere near here.
  10. Paradise Chevrolet in Temecula, Ca. I corrected him and he kept saying he was pretty sure you guys had gone out of business. I finally just laughed and told him he needed to check out your website.
  11. I stopped by my local Chevy/Caddy dealer yesterday to pick up some touch up paint. Their parts department is one of the largest and most impressive I have seen. It's literally a store within the dealership. Anyway, I noticed they had a pretty large display of "Smart" detailing products, but no Adam's. I asked the guy at the parts counter why they would carry "Smart" products, but not Adam's Polishes. His answer was the most interesting part of the story...He told me "We used to carry them but they went out of business, so they came and got all their remaining stock." I told him I thought that was interesting seeing as I placed an order with Adam's as recently as a few weeks ago. I can't wrap my head around why GM would not sell great quality products that they endorse, and put the GM label on. Any insight in to this?
  12. I typically give out business cards around base and do a car or two a month. Now I'm leaving and I have 7 cars to do in my last month here. Gonna be a busy month but I should make some pretty good mod money. Maybe get me some new wheels.
  13. I do the same thing. I have a family though so I have to balance my weekends between side jobs and family time. Most people, I've found, are not looking for the full polishing job, rather, a $150-200, get it really clean job. I use that money for mods, and to keep my detailing supplies up. Wife hates it, but I broke my back a few years ago, and it is the only physical activity I can still do well, that I happen to love, so she tries to be understanding. I had some business cards made up, which have worked pretty well, but I have found that word of mouth and referals are huge for business. Nothing advertises better than a happy customer.
  14. You're off to a pretty good start there. Be careful, it gets addicting before you know it.
  15. Much appreciated everyone. Ron, yeah, I just played around with the headlights for a few minutes with some Plastx just to see what it would do, and they came pretty close to new. I dont have a Swirl and Haze Remover hand applicator...sorry Adam's. About 2 1/2 minutes per headlight I would say. Easy day. Everything else minus the wheels was done with Adam's only. Wheels took Sonax Full Effect.
  16. Talking about matte paint. I just bought an SLP hood for my camaro that is painted matte black. Trying to figure out how I'm going to keep it clean and protected.
  17. As long as that sheen was even, I can't imagine it being too bad. The problem would be if it wasn't applied evenly. What about a protectant?
  18. I have no doubt this topic has been beaten to death, but I haven't seen anything on it and so I must ask...what is the best way to care for matte paint? I have seen a couple matte sealants out there that are ridiculously expensive, and some other care products from other companies. What is the best, and can I use my Adam's Detail Spray on matte paint?
