  1. Yea its plastidipped, cheaper than buying a new emblem.. I think, but it is reversible so thats a plus too. Thanks for the kind words fellas!
  2. Metallic, so it doesn't shine as much as other colors. But I'm happy with it Thanks for looking!
  3. Yea it wasn't too bad, I had fun doing it though. I just finished throwing on some BG and Americana and put my stock exhaust back on. Too late for pics though, tomorrow I will. My first time using waterless wash also on my car, I'm impressed with the product and surprised how much dirt can accumulate after a day. I don't know why I didn't get it sooner.
  4. Heres a couple car meet pics from a guy I know. This is in Pacific Commons in Fremont CA. Still have to put on BG and Americana, in reality I didn't even know about this car meet I was actually bored and wanted a reason to start polishing my car. But it worked out so I can't complain. The first pic really shows off my favorite cosmetic mod, OEM LED Tailights.
  5. Did you use APC on the mats? If so is it diluted at all? Also nice save btw.
  6. Hey all, here's a couple pictures of my car paint corrected after the dealer decided to wash my car after I told them not to. Its just one pass with FMP and Machine Super Sealant. I never thought metallic paint could shine like this til I found Adam's. Cloudy today Don't mind my giant phone. Thanks for looking, more pictures to follow after the wax cures. I'm thinking BG and some Americana .
  7. Thanks, it just so happens I ordered the wcw collection, it comes in tomorrow
  8. I recently cleaned my moms car and used LIC. The writing for the wipers and such were smearing and after diluting it to one part LIC and 3 parts water it still did it. Probably a rookie mistake since the car is a 02, what other options do I have to clean those areas? I'm afraid to do this on a car that's not in my immediate family. Any ideas are appreciated.
  9. I guess initially it doesn't look bad until it gets dirty of course. I figured since a lot of silicone based tired shine seems to do the same thing.
  10. A couple of my buddies are using this instead of in and out spray. They claim it works just as good. I'm just wondering what are the drawbacks?
  11. Thanks for the kind words, at first I didn't like the plaid seats. But it's something that just grows on you. Plus I think it's pretty unique.
  12. They're the all weather mats offered by vw, 150$ option called monster mats.
  13. Here's 2 after photos of my own car, it was fairly clean to begin with so I didn't bother with a before pic. Don't mind the dirt on the floor mat or the pedals, its going to rain soon. Thanks for looking!
  14. Is there a special way to go about cleaning it? Or do I have to use the K&N cleaning stuff.
  15. 1.5 Year ago picture of me on the PC on my Mk6 GTI. You can tell how old it is by the pad generation .
  16. Before (never before detailed for 2.5 years since bought) After Forgot to do the rain tray though (I think that's what its called, correct me if I'm wrong.)
  17. Hey all, got some new drying racks from the local discount store for my microfibers and other stuff. Luckily I have a mom that is always thinking of me and my crazy obsession. The sweater rack was 4$ and is stack able, the folding one was 15$. Pm me if you're wondering what store I got it from, I'm in norcal btw. On to the pictures! It folds too for easy storage In action! Other drying rack in action, almost looks like a small dog bed.
  18. Thanks for the quick response Dylan, spot on as always.
  19. Hi, long time lurker but long time lover of Adams Polishes. I searched the forums but didn't find a definitive answer. I just have a question about the "cut" of a polish. From what I understand is when you polish you remove a small amount of clear coat. So here goes my question: what is the levels of cut from lowest to highest in the Adams Polishes line? When I'm detailing a friends car or customer they often ask me about the level of the "cut" in the polish. My observation would be the SSHR would be the highest cut? Correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry to sound like a new comer but I've been at it for 3 years if that means anything. Thanks guys.
