  1. I used it for the fist time last night and I had the same issue with the sprayer. It would not MIST. Even when I changed the settings on the sprayer. Seemed more like a stream mist mix.
  2. I used mine for the first time last night. I agree with the OP . I did not see any advantages over using the wash pad vs this product. Just a different tool. I will try again but so far not worth the money to me.
  3. So I finally cleaned my Camaro last night. Then applied the H20 GG. All I can say is WOW. The gloss really pops. I couldn't believe it. I finished at near dusk so outside photos were not good. I pulled it into the garage and attached are the photos I took. I used SS towels to apply to the paint and wheels and buffed out with SS towel. I'm used to using a dryer to blow out all the spots that hold water and this states not to dry off. So there was acess water coming out after I applied the product. Would it be recommneded to just blow out only the tight spots and then apply the product? I also found that spraying I had to watch as I worked top to bottom and when I got to the front or rear fenders some overspray would get onto the top of the hood or trunk lid again. I would see it in the race stripes. Pleased with the product so far easy wipe on wipe off.
  4. Will it be ok to put on vinyl stripes for my camaro? Also how does it react to plastic like the cowl. Should these parts be addressed with SVRT first?
  5. I thought that 6.5 hours or even 1 hour of sitting would have been enough. I guess it's possible to put too much on but I started on the tread all the way around then another for the parts that were closest to the rim that did not get any. It did come out thick but besides using a tire applicator I did not see any other way of getting to the spots that were not hit with the tire shine. Back to the applicator for me. I hate spending 2 hours on a wash and have it ruined by sling. Side note the banana smell is a nice touch.
  6. Well, washed up the Camaro yesterday around 10am. Cleaned the tires with APC and scrub brush during wash like I always do and even with the dry towel wiped down any access junk that may have been on the tire. They have only received SVRT since I got the car. I applied the new tire shine and wanted the ultimate wet look like the video had so I applied and did not use the sponge. I let it sit from 11am-5:30pm for it to dry and set up. I took the car out for a nice drive with the family and when I got out for ice cream I looked it over and there was tire sling all over the side of the car. Don't know what happened but used some waterless wash to get it back to normal. I won't be doing the spray and let it set anymore. SVRT never slung so I will be back to the sponge method on the next wash
  7. Should be interesting to see. I like the shiny look but switched to SVRT because of the no sling all over the clean car. I also used to use black magic and the purple M stuff back in the day but went to SVRT. Very pleased with it but doesn't have the tire pop like a black magic does. Will put up my review once I get mine as well.
  8. Bought two bottles myself. I like the look after 20 min drying time
  9. Ordered two myself. I like the high shine after 20 min delay time in the video
  10. Don't know why mobile upload is upside down
  11. Yea the dawn would dry out the rubber but since it had SVRT on before I wasn't worried about drying it out with one wash of dawn. After the car was dry SVRT went back on all the rubber and plastic trim Just seems like the older I get the longer it takes or maybe I'm just wiser now and more of a perfectionist to try and achieve the best results.
  12. Took me 11.5hrs. Wash with dawns two bucket wash. The leaf blow dry followed with DS an waffle towel. Then Adams clay bar( the old one before they made their own) man it needed it. Taped off the vinyl hood stripes an applied the SVRT to the trim for the grill an rear bumper. Then went at it with Adams orange polish. Followed up wit white( fine polish). Next was MSS Then was Americana. Topped the stripes with SVRT. Tires with the same . Wheel wells with under carriage spray. In and out spray for the lower grill and rear bumper. Also used the two step polishing on the rims by hand followed with MSS. Will post a pic in daylight Is 11..5 hours normal for the amount of work I did?
  13. So tomorrow marks the first full correction for the camaro SS that I bought when I traded in my trailblazer SS back on 3/31/14. It's a 2012 and only had 4k miles on it when I bought it. It's my DD and now has 7,600 miles on it. My trailblazer took me a good 6hrs to do hopefully the camaro is less time. I have the flat black hood stripes so that's less paint I have to worry about. Any tips for this that have done a camaro before. I know one of the tricks is to apply SVRT to the vinyl so the wax or polish doesn't stick to it if it gets past the tape but when I did that and tried to apply the Adams masking tape the tape would not stick. So I'm thinking about not applying SVRT. Any suggestions Thanks
  14. I just picked up my new Camaro and it has the stripe package. Just wondering how everyone goes about Machine polishing the painted sections between the stripes and the little section between the big stripe and the outer small/thin stripe. I have a Flex polisher and I don't want to get polish or wax on the stripes or tear up the stripes. My first thought is to tape it off but I think for the outer thin stripe even the Adams take is too wide. Also any other tips or tricks on polishing a Gen 5 Camaro My car is in the profile pick if don't understand what I'm talking about. Thanks?
  15. SVRT did it. After I watched the video and had seen the RIGHT way of how to wash the vehicle. Plus the forums dedicated just for detailers like myself I was hooked
  16. I applied QS a week after my correction and Americana. Hoping I don't have to reapply Americana for 3-4 more months
  17. I guess it depends on how you want to restore it. If its just a DD that you want to clean up again then I would PC them. If you want to restore it then I would check e-bay for new or refurbs
  18. Generally I wait till the wheel well is dry. It will take a couple of applications of it has never been done.
  19. Always like the look of the Xtreme. I think GM was trying to bring back the cyclone and typhoon in a way but ran out of funds for motor upgrades. I like the stock look of the rims. I wouldn't paint them black.
  20. I think that I should have done this^^^^^ When I did my paint correction wit the Flex I had tape(the one from Adams) coming off. After thinking about it now I did clay with DS before taping so it did not have a good enough surface to stick to. I had the tape especially around the window molding coming off just touching it with the polisher. Lesson learned.
  21. What is this "ceramic coating" that you are talking about. Tried a search but nothing came up.
