  1. Not too much done since the car was new and never washed by the dealer. Just wash, seal, and glaze. When the weather cools down it will get a light polish and coating. And Offroad (makes cleaning the wheel wells super easy) vs Dynamic mode for the air suspension (Took these before I finished wiping everything down, hence some streaks on the door/ fender). Also added the quattro decals and got the windows tinted. Still need to do the inside.
  2. A lot of cars now come with the lower portion of the side skirts with a rough bottom which holds a ton of dirt and road tar. Simply put some Brilliant Glaze on an old microfiber and after just one or two wipes, it is completely gone.
  3. I don't mind it. It adds 0 days for me. From FedEx to USPS to me all in the same day. 1:28 pm Delivered Package delivered by U.S. Postal Service to addressee 8:02 am Out for delivery Out for delivery with the U.S. Postal Service 7:50 am At U.S. Postal Service facility Accepted by U.S. Postal Service 7:12 am In transit In transit to U.S. Postal Service 5:02 am Departed FedEx location FEDEX SMARTPOST EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ 5:00 am Shipment information sent to U.S. Postal Service
  4. Washed it in the hot sun. No problems letting the soap dry on the car, then rinse, spray down with DS and then dry.
  5. First real wash/ mini detail in a year on my car. Just finished an 11-month BSN program (pretty much no free time).
  6. I don't get how Smart Post adds so much time for everyone. Once USPS got my package from FedEx, they had it at my door less than 6 hours later.
  7. It's hard for me to say because I don't work in service at all, but with any of the newer cars, the worst thing I've ever seen couldn't be fixed by simply resetting the fault and the problem never coming back. With that said, with 4 Audis in my family, not one has ever had an issue.
  8. They should look fine again after a few stops.
  9. What I would like to see is it applied on something that produces a bunch of brake dust and then see how much is removed just by power washing. Preferably on wheels that are silver (not black or dark gray). I think that would be the best way of demonstrating how much easier this will make cleaning.
  10. The coating itself has high hydrophobic properties but leaves the paint "sticky". The boost will make the paint slick. I've used 2 other coatings so far and just leave them "sticky", but the boost would help dirt rinse away easier.
  11. Maybe slightly less, but it's hard to say because there is no way to see how much the brakes were applied between cleanings (could have been more the previous week, than this week).
  12. Here it is 10 days later. At least with a normal hose, the brake dust is no easier to rinse off, but once agitated, it does remove easily. It definitely adds protection as you can see the brake dust beaded up with the water once agitated. Seems like it would be worth using on your wheels every so often as it definitely adds protection. Before: After just rinsing: Agitated:
  13. So this should be interesting. Since there is silica in it, I figure it should be able to hold up to some heat and have some coating characteristics (brake dust should theoretically rinse off more easily). Let's find out as I update this thread in the future. Here is the initial cleaning anyway.
  14. Where on the car? Has it been polished at all before?
  15. I always bring out the hose and brushes for wheels even if doing rinseless on the rest of the car.
  16. It should be ok. I've used plenty of other iron removing wheel cleaners on plastidip without an issue.
  17. Upholstery means cloth. It's safe on leather, plastic, and vinyl surfaces.
  18. That last picture is the final result. It's clean and not brown, but it's also not black. Also, the tire itself would likely never look new since it's been driving around on NJ and Philly streets for a year. On my car with a tire coating, you can see missing spots from whenever the sidewall scrapes against potholes and I believe that is also what happened with this tire causing some on the uneveness in its look. I haven't used T-S in a long time, so I really can't say how it would have compared on this particular tire. I used a CG carpet brush which is very stiff.
  19. The first picture is before I used it. Now it is just above the top of the Adam's logo on the label. That is for 1 tire.
  20. Yes. A lot came off after 1 application, but I figured if it was turning brown still, dirt was still being removed.
  21. Here is what I started with. It hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I kept on rinsing and repeating the process until the foam no longer turned brown. Sprayed on. Scrubbed with stiff bristle brush. Round 2: Round 3: Round 4: Round 5: Final result:
  22. The old WW is better than diluted rinseless, especially at removing bugs. I don't know how this WW performs.
