  1. If there is an area where you have a trick/tip that would be a nice thing, but besides that i like the writing, and the result to
  2. I will quickseal all of the rim, even the barrel part, it will be easy when the Wheels is not on the car I usually order from the European supplier of Adam´s, but im considering making an order from the US since it has Things i cant get here, and then get it shipped via a Company that can take care of import taxes and stuff like that for me. Only problem with that is my creditcard will be red hot after the order then ill deffenitly will get Adama and the team to make some fun with the box
  3. Awesome i dont mind they get dirty, but if i can make it easier to clean them, then quick sealant is the way for me Ill get the Wheels out of the basement soon and get them ready before they get on the car
  4. How well does quick sealant Work on Wheels? My wheels get really dirty from the brake dust (i belive there´s metal in European brake pads) and its hard to clean off, will quick sealant help so i dont have to use the rough cleaners and how long does it generally last? If this is really effective i will use it instead of some of the nano/sealants made special for the rims (this is a daily driver car) Now i just have to bring my car to the mechanic and when i get it back im starting my spring cleaning/detailing and i wanna get the summer tyres/rims ready before i put them on the car
  5. ill try and take some Pictures, i cheated a bit today and did the worst part of the vacumming today, i wont have time untill next week to start the project if the weather allows it
  6. Thx, I´ll take those tips with me cant wait to see the baby wagon AKA stationcar after the whole treatment, might be our daily ride, but i want it to look as good as it can besides a few flaws in the paint
  7. Ok guys/girls, im about to do my first spring cleaning of the car, inside will be all Adams interior products that i just ordered and cant wait for it to arrive The door frames will be waterless wash, unless very dirty ill use some car wash shampoo followed by revive where its bad (to get a feel for the product) and quick sealant (allso to use it for the first time and get a feel for it) i dont think i will overdo it with Wax Interior and door frames will not be done the same day as the outside, i can do it in my parking spot, while the outside will be at a local DIY repair station where they have a car wash spot that can be rented cheap Outside will get: prewash hosedown 2 bucket wash degreaser that i have to remove old Wax instead of IPA European cars dont allways love IPA so im playing safe here claybar revive (ill start with a few spots that could use a Little extra, and then continue if i have time/confidence for it) quick sealant glaze butter of course exterior trim gets some SVRT/in&out and the Wheels will get changed for summer Wheel/tyre with everything i can do to them Now for a question, using quick sealant seems easy enough on the video´s BUT for every panel you make do you reprime the pad and spray the panel or do you just spray some quick sealant on the panel? Besides that, any good advice for this procedure? besides getting a Flex) wish is not an option atm
  8. I dont Work on small aircraft, i Work on the larger airliners as a technician, so let me just give a few Things to consider (i dont have any detailing experience on them) 1. make sure to cover and static and pitot tubes, inlets for the engine during the wash and detailing 2. if you wash the flight controls and gears to much you will need to get them lubricated again. If the paint is similar to what im working with, its very hard and most likely epoxy based depending on the age of the aircraft
  9. Im finally done, did the trims and glass sealant a week ago today i washed the car. Clayed the front an some the sides and the rear (didnt have time for more) Gave it brilliant glaze and buttery wax and used in&out and SVRT Theres a few flaws and i found some minor things i need to repair But wauw it looks awesome, this was done at a self wash at the local gas station and people asked me if it was for sale, even people with cooler cars than my Ford station wagon commented how great it looked Cant wait for next time when i can get an indoor garage with more time
  10. Thanks you for the answers ill leave the glass alone and just give it the sealant we are about to hit the big rain season before winther now Ill try the toothbrush on my trim and clay on the inside windows. Might be a used car i bought, but i might as well make it look as good as i can
  11. Hi everyone i bought a car not so long ago, its from 2005 so rather new, but there is a few things that annoys me most is being fixed soon when i get my order But theres 3 things i cant figure out how to fix. 1. the black trims around windows has some spots on it, some are dark green, any idea how to clean this before i give it super VRT? 2. glass has some etching on the inside, it looks like its from the windows being open for a longer time maybe, so i think its water etching, my idea was trying a clay bar, anyone has a better idea? 3. theres some scratches on some of the side windows, very superficial (spelling?) i was wondering if that could be polished out? I think that was all for my first post, im getting ready to receive my order, then the car is getting claybar, brilliant glaze, butter wax and super VRT all around if i got the time it might get the quick sealant to before the hard winther starts, depending on how much i can fix with the claybar. And of course i ordered the glass sealant, cant wait to try that stuff. Dennis
